If I ever run into someone shopping for a Raptor I'll point them to this review. I think all Raptor buyers need to see this before buying a new truck.
I have a Raptor 2020 it's fun and soft.

2020 models are the best build.

Reason I have a raptor: cause our roads get worse every day and driving on road is now like being off road. Pot holes don’t break my rims or deflate my ko2s

Since they have upgraded the suspension for off road and that's great for staying ahead of the competition, they are getting stiffer and stiffer. That's the beauty of the gen 1 nothing rides like the gen 1 it's like a giant lumbering pillow. My off road is going to hard to get fishing spots and the gen 1 is more than adequate. I agree you are wasting your money since the daily driving experience is moving more and more towards off roading.
So glad I watched this. Not buying it. Thank you for saving me a headache!
The Raptor is a great truck. And the mountains are spectacular in Utah!

I'm a tundra guy; but the Raptor is a badass truck. I love the interior n exterior. The only problem is it's a Ford. I don't trust there vehicles. I've owned two explorers, one ranger and one Taurus, all of the had transmission problems. The f150 is the best looking truck rite now. It's like being young, partying day and night having alot of energy. That's F150. But when u get older, u settle down, that's when reliability becomes attractive, so u get something reliable. Have you towed anything with the Raptor? If so, how did it pull a trailer?
I currently have a Toyota Tundra TRD Pro and love the truck. Zero issues for 2 years of ownership. I too have owned two F150s and both had problems. Would love to purchase this Raptor but I’m all about reliability. Plus I’m not a fan of the V6. My V8 sounds very good.
Awesome truck and great review-for more fun daily driving Id recommend a Gladiator- easy parking and driving, and the top off feeling never gets old. Obviously no comparison to a Raptor in the desert though.
If they gave it more power, I would daily one for sure

the tank is 36 gallons. and what gas do you prefer? I mostly use Costo Prem..93
Those are my childhood stomping grounds. Spent a lot of time getting gas and snacks at that Chevron on Highland drive.
If that had been an Arizona driver who passed you, they would have rushed to get in front of you, driven five miles under the speed limit once they had gotten in front of you, and then suddenly slammed on the brakes to turn into a parking lot, right before deciding not to actually turn into a parking lot.

Thanks for the detailed living with it type of review!!! Please try to keep your thumbs out of the wheel when off-road. I would hate for you to have the wheel snap back and dislocate or break a thumb.

I want a Raptor but I’m in NYC lol would drive to pa to off road like I did with my wrangler.
In Nj travel ny conn and pa roads potholes bad. Friend with Honda Fit bent two rims and flattened two tires on a pothole.and sometimes this makes the news in nyc. Boom taxi hits pothole crashes into garbage truck etc.

Great video! I am looking for a truck for daily commute (3 miles local, 10 miles hwy), and grocery shopping, sometimes large amount, weekend zoo trip and my daughter daycare, no off road. Do you suggest Raptor? or some other trucks? Thank you

You should do some of the forscan mods. I’m getting mine done tomorrow. Turning off auto stop start, having my mirrors fold when I lock it etc.

I think the scab's come with a 26 gallon tank and the screws have a 36 gallon tank. And 12.9? I'm getting around 16 on a cobb stage 1 93 octane tune and daily driven
Tyler Crist I only have 91 in Utah for gas and maybe the elevation hurts fuel economy a little too.
