How do you have the marbel art stay on the material. I am using liquid starch with paper and it holds. But it does not work on canvas or material. Any ideas

I soak silk/fabric and canvas shoes/hats in alum. Some items you can spray light coats of alum and let dry in-between

Artist quality, acrylics, and for the Carrageenan I use 3 tablespoons to 1 gallon of water

The liquid in the tub is Carrageenan mixed with water. It is a thickener.

How long do u keep ur carragenan mixture? 1 day or u can go more recycling?
