We knew your humor was sharp & levels the playing field for us. Your humility showing us you are as imperfect as the rest of us is inspiring. Thank you for sharing this side of you

Before i watched this video, I liked Jimmy Carr well enough, but after watching, I admire him. Several very shrewd obsevations; obviously a man who thinks deeply.

This was very interesting. I don’t know how he can give such in depth answers on challenging personal questions so quickly, that are incredibly sincere, and seemingly on the mark. I would need hours to analyze the question and then maybe come up with an answer. Impressive!

I had already watched the full interview but greatly enjoyed rewatching this section. Thanks so much Jimmy! Not only do I greatly enjoy your humour and find it therapeutic for my own battle with depression, but your candour about your own mental health battles is refreshing and extremely helpful. 🤗

You're an absolute legend, Jimmy. We're privileged to see such poise and respect. It truly is a great example for the world. The way you have come back from something that would lay someone else low indefinitely is truly astounding. Thank you!!

Our brains are amazing at designing and creating illusory problems and imaginary threats to our existence. Whole lives spent worrying about what could happen. I like the workbook called 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels, it has helpful mindfulness lessons.

What kind of society do we live in where you could never make a mistake? I feel you are lucky that the people you associate with are tolerant enough to understand that we all make mistakes.

I love that you are coming to Pittsburgh PA. but i can't make it and it breaks my heart cuz you are what turned me on to british humour and comedy again. My grandfather was from around Manchester and he was the funniest guy i ever knew. And I was 7 when he died but it still stuck with me!!!

Being a comedian, he knows how to push the envelope and go way past the line. But he went past the line with the government with his tax evasion. And he earned forgiveness when he paid it all back and was ashamed of himself for it all. He admitted to it and welcomed all the jokes because he deserved them and could handle it. Most people can't do that when they mess up. That's what makes Jimmy Carr a true legend. He wanted people to be mean and laugh at him because that made him feel better about himself. Own up to your mistakes and don't lie about it or keep making those mistakes. Just own up to it and do whatever you can to make it right.

I used to suffer dreadful anxiety and I managed to self-cure. Jimmy, or anyone else, if you would like to hear more, feel free to drop me a line. I am a creative, by the way, so I relate to what was said here. I would never charge anything for helping people to get over this serious affliction; I just get satisfaction from making lives better. Best wishes.

Dear Jimmy. You did something 'wrong' because you had the opportunity and you were caught. That's just it ! That doesn't make you à bad person; it just means you made a bad choice ! We all do sometimes. Your public still likes you man. Let it rest. ❤
