So happy to see the ion purifying solutions hard water shampoo on your list! It's been my clarifying shampoo since I discovered I have curly/wavy hair. And now that I'm letting my silver show, I can still feel good about using it. Thanks for all your hard work 💗
I had gone down the fragrance-free route because so much had gotten so heavily fragrances. But the Undo Goo has been a staple, and I’ve used it for years.
Thank you for that. I really just tried the shampoo to see if it was clarifying enough like Neutrogena, it seemed so and of course bonus points for no fragrance.
@QuickSilverHair I love The Ordinary for skincare, so I had to try the shampoo & conditioner. But yes, the conditioner is very thick and moisturizing, and a little really does go a long way. 🙂
Safeway Select has one like the Neutrogena but in a bottle about half the size, It even smells the same, I have not used it yet as I have a couple uses left in my Neutrogena bottle.
So I tried it out last night and it works so well it didn’t dry out my hair it feels very clean I use a lot of product because my hair is curly and my hair feels so clean! Definitely adding it to me routine it’s only $6 at safeway
I am currently using Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle shampoo for clarifying and it's okay. Kind of drying. I'm thinking of trying Kinky Curly Come Clean next time. Jessicurl just came out with a clarifying shampoo too. Do you have any suggestions on these?
Hi Karen, Kinky Curly has chelating ingredients and will work well for clarifying buildup and minerals. JessiCurl just released theirs and I don't know much about it yet, but looking at the ingredients it should also work well for minerals and product buildup.
Hi there, I’m a new subscriber. 🙂 I recently replaced my Neutrogena Clarifying Shampoo with Olaplex No.4C Bond Maintenance Clarifying Shampoo. I’ve only used it once so far, since I only wash my silver curls once a week. I really like how well it cleansed, but was curious if you have tried it or recommend it. Loving your channel!
Hi Nicole. Welcome to my channel. I do not recommend the use of Olaplex for natural color hair. The product was originally designed for bleach damaged hair and I believe it can damage undamaged hair. I have a blog post and a video that goes into great detail on this topic. quicksilverhair.com/are-bond-builders-good-for-gray-hair/

Wonderful!!! Happy I could help. I just wish they would make it fragrance free, so I could use it freely. 🌟
your hair looks so lovely here, love the head band
Thank you. It’s one of my favorites. 🌟
I'm so glad you caught the Hairprint issue -darn, I have 3 bottles! This is great info, Joli. I will try some of these products.
I’m sorry you ended up with so many bottles. I am so very bummed to see this product change that much. 😭
I have never heard of Seen… I will check it out!
Amanda, I have coupons for Seen if you want to try it out, if you go directly to their site it is QUICKSILVER10.
I love that undo goo clarifying product!! I used it forever then lately have been using Paul Mitchell which is good too!!

so helpful, I have really hard water and now that my hair is fully transitioned I need clarifying!!
You might consider Seen shampoo as your every-washday shampoo to help prevent the buildup. It has really worked for me. Glad I could help. 🌟
The matching conditioner from the Ordinary is really good!! It definitely gets rid of the dryness cause by the shampoo. 🙂

Another great video Joli! Thank you!

I’ve never heard of that brand, is it a Safeway grocery brand??
@@QuickSilverHair Yeah I believe it's their house/no-name brand.
@@WindsongVirtual I’m not even sure we have any Safeways around here anymore.
Just bought it yesterday

@@QuickSilverHair Thanks so much for the response! I only clarify my hair once a month, but I think I will exchange Olaplex for another brand. 😬
@@SilverHair73 you’re welcome. You might try the Undo Goo from Malibu C.
