Great interview, Piers. Prime minister Albanese, you did us all proud, nothing fazed you and you did not embarrass us like the previous guy would have done on the world stage! No wonder you have been voted no.3 politician in the world. 🇦🇺
Well handled by the Australian prime minister. I think guests on Piers Morgan's show should be warned that they will be probed on questions related to Harry/Megan and transgender issues. It seems as if every interview Piers Morgan does these days is focused on only these two things. The leader of a country has more important responsibilities and shouldn't have to be lured into a click-bait trap for sensationalist media. On the question of Australia's head of state, this should be a no-brainer. Why is it so hard to fathom that a sovereign country wants to have its own head of state?
Well said, I agree entirely. I would also add that Piers missed an opportunity to engage with the PM on an issue of genuine historical significance to Australia - the Voice to Parliament referendum, which is happening later this year. This should be of significance to British people, given that it is an olive branch and a request coming from the Aboriginal people to be recognised in the constitution and represented in parliament, which is something that was historically denied to them by the english colonists. It represents a significant turning point in Australia's colonial history. Yet when Albanese mentioned it, Piers didn't have a word to say about it (despite it being a hot topic for conservatives here in Australia). Piers was too eager to get back to whinging about Harry And Megan. What a child.
@@liamdeandrad-alway4882 Questions about transphobia or about Meghan Markle are really not relevant questions to ask the leader of a country. Those are issues that Piers Morgan is personally obsessed with. The Australian PM (Anthony Albanese) was right not to fall into that "gotcha" trap. He was elected to govern a country - not to give opinions about the culture wars to feed the right wing media narrative.

@@viperfanaccount688 That's why forcing vapers back onto cigarettes doesn't make any sense if non-smokers don't enjoy second hand smoke. Vaping contributes to a cleaner society. Someone who has never compared cigarettes to vaping wouldn't be able to comprehend the difference, and wouldn't be in a position to make the appropriate legislation. I used to be skeptical of vaping myself until I tried it, then replaced my cigarette habit with it. So obviously cleaner and healthier, it's not even a close comparison.
He’s asking questions that are relevant
@@liamdeandrad-alway4882 Questions about transphobia or about Meghan Markle are really not relevant questions to ask the leader of a country. Those are issues that Piers Morgan is personally obsessed with. The Australian PM (Anthony Albanese) was right not to fall into that "gotcha" trap. He was elected to govern a country - not to give opinions about the culture wars to feed the right wing media narrative.
Australia chasing the climate change fraud..it is sowing seeds of its destruction and will implode
Maybe look up what the state of Victoria can allow when they deem trans youth aren’t being correctly represented by their parents and you may change your mind on this “nonissue”

Piers spent too much time on the monarchy and Albanese was very diplomatic and really had his sharp wits about him.
Sharp wits, Robert? As opposed to blunt wits, right?
@@22ab8 not sure what you mean. Do you think he has a blunt way of speaking?
@Robert definition of witty
wit•ty
(ˈwɪt i)

1. amusingly clever in perception and expression; possessing wit: a witty writer.
2. characterized by wit: a witty remark.
Robert, I don't think the reference to the word 'sharp' is relevant in any way to being 'witty'
Using the correct grammer in expressing ourselves is important, very important, as it gives the reader an insight into one's character.
