The compressor has to work very hard if the desiccant is old and clogged (any compressor makes water as a byproduct hence the desiccant) you’ll probably find the yellow 60 amp fuse goes same place as the relay it’s the only yellow one. Cheapest fix is to remove compressor and get a service kit clean and change desiccant. Only about £15 for kit or just buy a new compressor if you are feeling flush. Worth checking the front and rear valves you can get service kits for these. Depressurise the system before doing this.
Useful tip re-fuse make up a length of wire with slide on electric connectors take fuse out if it’s gone, you can run the car till at normal height using this but don’t leave it connected once at height switch off and remove wire. It’ll get you home, I always carry one with me.

hi i have a problem with my range rover sport 2006 2.7 the back suspensions is perfect when i drive it when i park it and the next morning the front suspension is lowed and the back is high can you help me find the problem please

I just recently rebuilt the compressor and that didn’t fix mine, now I guess I’ll get a new compressor and replace it to hopefully fix the issue.
I have tried the rebuild and sometimes it works - but changing the whole compressor is always the best option

Can you help me to find out what is the problem with my air suspension?
When I lift the car with the button there is no problem, when I take it back to the normal mode there is no problem as well. But when I want to low the car it go down but it coming up strait after. First front and back like boat on the waves. On the screen is coming out " reset suspension height of clear of obstacle" or something. If I press the button down and lock it then the car go down and stay in low position. That is happening when the car is standing, when I drive it there is no problem with lowering the car at all. Do you know what is the problem ?

Hi - we had this problem on our car when we lowered it with the software . The message you are seeing is the the one you get when the car is bottoming out - it thinks its "grounded" so raises the suspension

Hi in my lr3 2007 my suspension goes really high on the driver wheel while I'm driving. have you got any idea what that causes? Because when I lower it after all of the wheels are are on different heights and the wheel on the driver side goes really high like it's about to destroy it.

compressor is running no leaks takes 15 seconds than shows that same message as yours. is it definitely the compressor or valve block? fronts sagging but rear is normal

Hi guys I have a Range Rover sport 2007 I just replaced my rear left ride sensor and now the rear of the car is sitting on its arse I get fault codes c1a701c ,c1a051c and c1a1364 can any body help thanx
Mines doing the same no fault when just on ignition comes on a few seconds after starring the car I've changed the compressor but still the same any ideas?? It's self levels ect all fine just lifts very slowly and has the fault on the screen
Check for leaks in the system. Raise it to offroad height, pull the fuse (F26 in engine compartment) and switch vehicle off. Leave it overnight and see what happens. If the car is lower in the front or rear in the morning, it is a valve block that is leaking. If not, you could have a problem with your accumulator tank (underneath vehicle driver side). These are known to have hairline cracks that cause the compressor to run longer than the set time, which will cause the ECU to give you an error and the suspension fault. It is most likely the latter judging by what you said.
Hi, I note with HDC faults the battery can sometimes be the issue. Did the compressor fix this fault or was there an issue with the battery? Keen to understand the fix.

hello. I have a 05 LR3 do you know the location of the starter relay. my starter will not turn on with the key but I can manually jump the solenoid to get the engine started. so I believe the relay is bad. thanks in advance.

Hi i have 2006 range rover sport that sometimes when i put gas in it and start it up fault light with lo and a mountain come on and the parking brake come and i have to trun it off and trun it back on and thin if the lo and mountain is off thin i can trun off the parking brake thin i can go... sometimes i have to do this 2 or 3 time What could this be?????
Do I need to put the axle stand at the front of the car too or just at the rear only?what the height should I leave the vehicle Lower, Normal or High Off Road?
Hi - put in high mode will make access easier - would use axle stands in the area you are working just in case - if the air goes these cars drop fast !
I have the same issue with air suspension, it only work on a normal high when driving, after switch the car off and on the suspension work normal for a couple minutes. I thinking of taken the compressor out and repair. (will it work and sort out the light on the panel?)
Does the compressor run constant on these?? Or is it a case it pumps to the level required then stops?
Rab Ross i think if the height sensor on one of the wheels is damaged it can make the compressor keep pumping air . I have days where my car does fine and then days where the height fault light goes on
The car monitors pressure in the tank (located under driver side of car) and also run time of the compressor. If set pressure is not reached within a set time, you will get an error and the ECU will disable the ability to raise or lower the vehicle (normal ride height only message) to protect the compressor.

Hi Guys, My 2006 Range rover sport has an intermittent issue, when I start up the suspension does not work and the power for the radio and the sat nave goes off after about 60 seconds, but it drives ok, when I drive for a while and then stop and switch off the engine for about 5-10 minutes then start it again and everything works fine, If I switch it off again and give it it another 5-10 minutes before switching it on again it goes back to the initial fault. this would go on in this like clock work, can anyone help? N

No, I did not.We are still analyzing and checking the cause of the air suspension at th right side (left of course0 The relays and fuses are getting very (=very) hot. After cooling down the suspesion is getting to work rather normally. How can I solve?

When i leave my 2006 lr3 off over night i wake up to the rear end raised to extended mode and the car is completely off .what coukd cause this ???
Hi not heard of this one - rear height sensor ? compressor ? seems an odd fault.
powerfulukltd as sson as i open the door or unlock it releases air and goes back down or when i turn the car on it will go back down .

The truck goes into sleep mode 😴 every three hours it should level out to normal height
