I'm totally new to knitting, and for me, as a crocheter, knitting is so hard. I don't understand tutorials; they are very chaotic. But this video and your tutorial is very easy to understand. I understand what you are saying and what you are doing. It's very easy and logical. Thanks! Keep up the good work!👏🏻
I thought i was the only person to cast on the way you did. I got very excited to see that. Thinking ....finally someone else does that. The sweater is stunning Well done!
@@jazzhzr7444 :’) yay!! Thats why i love to make these videos!! Don’t mind me writing “pearl” stitch - just was taught it’s “purl”! 🥲🥹💗 you’re very welcome
I’m brand new to knitting! i was paying attention to how you were yarning over and putting the needle into each stitch. it kinda looked like you were doing every other stitch differently, not just the knit1purl1 rows. i just want to make sure I make this right 😊 other than that this seems super easy to follow
@@arianaharper4103 hiii!!! sometimes i may knit in the back loop or then sometimes i may do a regular knit stitch through the front loop.. maybe thats the difference you see!!! 😊 but definitely just make a regular knit stitch when needed!!!!
Omg this sweater is so cute, do you know the approximate dimensions of the size small/medium (45 sts) vs the medium/large (60sts)? I always make things too big since I'm worried they won't fit and I want to try and avoid that this time hehehe. I just discovered your channel and I already love it!!!!!!
@@stinkyxstanky aw thank you 😊❤️🥹😊 uhm no i’m not the best at that - i usually only know my stitch size. But this also depends what yarn/needles you use. If I were to make a medium/large on 7.5mm needles and with dk. Weight yarn, i’d make about 70 stitches. Your best bet is to make a swatch!!!!!!!!
Could you knit the body of this sweater and the sleeves in the round and then attach the sleeves? I just don’t know how you would do the neckline in the round though
@@kris10espo yes you definitely could knit the body and then the sleeves and attach the sleeves! I use to knit the body bottom to top and make my own sleeve holes! hi!! can i ask how many inches your circular needles were for the body of the sweater?? i have 32 inch circular ones and i just want to make sure they're big enough!
@@rumiizoomiee hihi 💓✨ i believe mine are 30-36 inches! After i looked it up it should even just be the 30 size! Even after googling it more my other needles for the sleeves are 11 inches! (I’ll have to learn more about this lol)
@@sherisefindlay-james6499 you could use your knitting needles. Place the panels together and cast on stitches. Put the panels together, cast on a stitch through both panels, once you have 2 loops on your needle, pull the 1st loop over the 2nd. I’m not sure how knitters attach panels without a crochet hook - maybe you can find a another method!!! 💗🥺

Thanks for the clarification; I came back here to ask how much yarn was used. :)

Just one question, if it is possible, to answer here. I would like to have normal sleeves. What can I do if I don't want such large, loose sleeves?
I haven't even watched the video yet but, what a BEAUTIFUL sweater!
