Hey Kababoes ... just found your name saved in my phone and started looking whether or not you would put your adventures on youtube. Apperently you do and what's even better ... we're in one of them ! I'm still very happy we met you that night and had a nice talk. Thanks again, Jurgen (the nice couple from Belgium) - keep up that good job posting your canoe adventures !
Ik heb weer genoten, jouw croc scoort hoge ogen hahaha , serenity dat vind ik toch wel het juiste woord voor wat en hoe je het elke keer in beeld brengt . Heel mooi gedaan. Groet!

I saw a lot of familiar places from once upon a time when I was younger. .. 5 days.. this is trip I have to go on myself one day. I do feel a bit bad because of upsetting quite a lot of deer,geese and wild boar lately in my drive to have nice camp outs.. respect for you dignity. .. hats off! till the next one! cheers
Absolutely fantastic. You deserve a lot more subscribers!!! I hope you never lose interest in making videos they are very enjoyable to watch. Thanks 🙏🏻
Cheers.
Hi there from New Zealand. I just wanted to say I enjoy your canoeing videos a great deal, and just wanted to ask a question - what brand of video camera is that you're using in this video, clamped top the thwart?
Tks for your nice words mate. Enjoying the outdoors really is a spiritual experience, isn't it. Have seen parts of your vids, so I guess you know what I mean. Anyway, that camera is a Sony hdr-pj320. Stay healthy. CU
Hello neighbour, what a fantastic idea to drive through the dutch channels with little canoe. I like the netherlands very much, spend holidays with family there for generations ((-; Take care and stay healthy. "Good path" Alex from the Eifel How did you make this great camouflage pattern on boat?
The Netherlands is a small country with a lot of people, so there is much traffic on the roads. Using the (ancient) waterways is more relaxed, especially in efforts to avoid the crowds. Funny that Dutch people go to the Eifel for holidays, and you the other way round. But after coming back for generations you may call it a little bit home. The pattern on my canoe? Well, first I sprayed it black. Then I put some leaves from plants out of my garden on it and sprayed it the other colours. Tks for you comment neighbour. Take care.
@@Kababoes Hey, from july the 27th we are in Julianadorp, not far from Giethorn. The channels traversing through your land like the veins through the body...(-;
@@EifelWandern When you don't know what to do you can go to Giethoorn and rent a canoe or electric boat and do a tour yourself out with family. Julianadorp is very close to Navy Town Den Helder, where I've spent many years. Have a nice holiday. Cheers
Where can I get a navigation map of this area or in Nederland in general like the one you ve got in your square box, I guess you printed it yourself.. any link I can check? feeling inspired with your country now that I've checked some of your vids.. I did a nice bicycle tour when I was in my 20s there, great memories, I could paddle a bit now..
That map is created in OziExplorer, so I can add my own information like waypoints or tracks. Unfortunately it´s hard to get free topographical maps of Nederland. Perhaps www.topotijdreis.nl is a useful link. Very interesting because you can also 'travel in time'. It´s all in Dutch but I don´t doubt you can figure it out. Just zoom in, make a screen dump and 'cut and paste'. Although I know you prefer map and compass instead of GPS, garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ may also be useful to create custom maps. Next time you are in Nederland, just let me know and be welcome. CU
ua-cam.com/video/qSkC7U5TG5o/v-deo.html we have a little cabin by this lake, plenty of interesting paddling lakes around to.. you and your canoe or a friend are very welcome to make s stop at our place for a day or more.. on your way to Bandak.
If you have a tablet or smartphone you also can download app Topo GPS. It's not free but for a little amount you can download detailed topo maps (1:25.000) of Nederland. Also of Sverige, Norge, France and more. I know, it's not like a paper map but it works. Probably you've seen it in my Kjorull canoe trip from min. 9:10.
See ya, Hans
