Hi, my name is April! If you’re someone who loves reading, then this is DEFINITELY the place for you! My videos include book recommendations, book hauls, reading wrap ups, reading reviews and reading vlogs. I mostly read thriller books, contemporary fiction, literary fiction, horror books, historical fiction and nonfiction too. I hope that by watching my Booktube videos, you will find your next five star read (or maybe even a new favourite book of all time!!).
Just pick up "They Never Learn" from the library and can't wait to start reading it! Added another couple of books to my TBR, thanks for the recommendations.
It's such a compelling read!
My first choice to read would be The Five. As I listened to your video I thought of the book Keep Sweet by Debbie Palmer and Dave Perrin. Debbie was victimized by a men who in horrible ways where women were taught to basically shut up the man is always right. She finally learned her true potential and freed herself from that horrible life. She fought back and somehow won.
I never thought I would say this but I never thought I'd be comforted by a thriller because it gave me hope that there's people fighting for us they're giving us a voice that we don't have at the moment like using their Fame for good things Jessica Knoll is like right up there with all my favorite writers now because of this book
This theme is really interesting as are the books you showed. Nicci French is my favorite.

Yessss I love feminist/good for her/female rage reads!! I have bright young woman and they never learn on my list. I tend to lean more horror than thriller but great list 🥰
