You know hal becoming a villain is probably one of the best developed twist villains honestly +Watchmen i think At first Hal isn't Evil just bad at social interaction and insecure Then he gets powers Only goes along with the leaning to become a superhero for the girl However when to put It bluntly he did the worst show off of powers possible and gets rejected decides being a Hero is for losers But as megamind put It: i made you a Hero, you made the fool thing all by yourself Yet before that there's lot of foreshadowing of hal becoming the villain He uses Heat vision to gleefully melt the megamind mannequin When he gets hit with the forget me stick the book BEST comic book villains can be seen Also as a sidenote megamind 's backstory was essentially Superman's backstory funnily enough And megamind isn't ever evil he just think he has to be the bad Guy. He's very aware of what makes a hero.
