Mercedes should warranty that garbage for free since most people overpay 10x's for junk engineering from Mercedes.
Agreed. It's shit like this that pushes people to being an ex-owner and buying (gasp) a Toyota.
Or learn how to repair the car myself!
How can it be warranty if the bar is bent by a foreign object, trash under the seat?
Great video. I have the same issue on MB E350. The seat is all the way forward covering the seat bolts. In previous post MBT Atlanta reports move seat side to side slowly. How? My motor works but will not move seat enough to access bolt. Seems to be jammed in track. Can you forcefully or manually move the seat? Or disconnect from rails? PLEASE HELP! Dealer wants to cut it out!
Did you ever get this figured out? I'm having the issue now in my e550
I had ths saem problem with one of the back bolts. I tried to use a hammer but the rail would not budge so I resorted to a small bottle jack to force the rail forward just enough to get a socket over the bolt.
Where did u get that bracket from?
Do they make this part for a 2014 E350? What is the name of the company who makes the billet motor frame?
Thank you for a good video. I have the same issue and couple questions. One there is a white connector for the air hoses, how do I disconnect that one to remove seat as I do not want to break the plastic. Second, can I disconnect the yellow "air bag" connector with the battery still hooked up or should I unhook it. Last is how did you disconnect the bottom cushion? Last if battery is disconnected I guess we get to reprogram everything? Yep a water bottle bent the bracket, need to order the strong one. Looks like 3+ weeks from Pelican (ugh).

I wanted to come on here and send you an extra special THANK YOUUU for your expert advice opinion! Brother you just saved me 500.00 plus on the seat in my coupe! I was missing a bottle of Perfume. Like I’m a girlie girl! It was lodged under the seat and threw it off track! Hopefully no further damage or bent shaft. But it works perfectly. I love Mercedes! ❤❤ I love you 😂😂 not a cheap design but I will keep my car cleaner than it already is!

@@TheHondurasgangster hi Ye. No parts needed. If you can maneuver your seat all the way forward see if you can unlodge the bottle. Also try and use the seat release by the seatbelt (the pull mechanism to allow passengers in the back) because that automatically moves the seat also. If it’s a water bottle you may have to puncture to deflate the air to remove it. Once that happens your seat should move if it’s no damage to the track.
I have that same problem with my front right passenger seat! This vid helps a lot. Question: 1) Where can I find this piece? 2) Is the cost for this repair kit really $500.00! (yikes!) Please help!!
Another way to avoid bending the mount is to use the presets and make adjustments prior to sitting on the seat. these frames and motors are not designed to move a 300 lb person.

The Gle 350 2018 has plastic attached to the seat that is supposed to help to move back an forth ours broke i am waiting on their astronomical price now... that is a design flaw

Great info. Any idea for a quick fix on 2019 e450 drivers seat not reclining? Not the control unit as i am able to control the passenger seat with the driver side control unit. I was able to make the drivers side incline. Just doesnt recline. Thanks.
It can be software update, switch, control unit or motor, on this new cars the only way to determine is to hook it to a computer.

It’s no longer available, they stop making them, something to do with passenger safety when car get into a side accident the seat needs to collapse to protect the passenger from the impact

Question: Got a '08 CL65 AMG with Multi Contour/Dynamic seats... the problem I have is the passenger side shoulder lumber is stuck in the most inflated mode and it will not deflate. Any idea how to fix this problem?
Jeremy Gleiberman need to put on the xentry, not sure why, not related to the frame, it sounds more like seat module

Yes, it caused due to the frame being bent a little and allowing the cable to move out a little

It's the "seat adjuster bracket" that is bent or coming out of place like this video mentioned. I had a bottle of water stuck under the seat possibly bending the bracket over time. Mines move from side to side when going forward/backward and I still have power. Take the top seat cover out with 2 screws underneath and push the bracket down/hold it down and push the button to move it to your adjusted seating. Temp fixed but it worked for me. Good luck

You spend lot of many for 1 flexible shaft cost 30$.
Is there a way to bend it back for a temporary fix without taking the whole seat out?
It’s not going to be easy but it’s doable.
@@MercedesBenzTechs I just tried it. Attempting to bend it back into place will only make it worse. It appears you can replace the part without removing the entire seat. However there is one nut in the way that appears to be part of the seat tilting mechanism.

Randall Tan its an after market repair kit, ask Mercedes repair shops around you if they can get it for you from their part suppliers like world pack or SSF.

Thanks not sure I understand though. The seat rails are covering the bolts and the seat wont move at all. Is there a way to manually move the seat so I can access the rear bolts to get the seat out?
Ted Midthun there is no easy way to do it, you will have to move it slowly one side at a time unless you can put the shaft back in both sides which is a very complicated task, you need to connect the shaft one side move it an inch and than go to the other side and repeat.

brian willoughby it’s a generic part number, it’s not a Mercedes part, you can’t buy it from the dealer. But regardless, you can try the 2 websites online and see if the have it, I think pelican parts are out. Good luck.
