- We left the Philippines on March 5, without knowing days into our trip the world would be waging a war with a pandemic! We have been stranded since 😅 So this is the first of the many vlogs you’ll be getting from me as I spend months after month in the States. Medyo buhay Amerika na ang peg ko lately - pati yung drugstore makeup because I left my kikay kit in Manila and had to buy some beauty products para naman hindi ako masyadong mukhang papel sa mga pictures ko haha! 🤣 So, enjoy my makeup demo in the end. May adventure pa in between. Just watch it!!! 👌🏻

Drugstore cosmetics here in the US are the branded ones in the Philippine malls. Max factor, Maybelline, Neutrogena, Cover girl and etc which are really good brands.
Gina Miller yeah. Akala ko when I go to cvs and walmart hindi ko makikilala ang brands but apparently they are the good ones we have back home also! Sa japan naman iba. Hindi mo talaga marerecognize yung galing sa kombini!
Iba't ibang terms ng make-ups na gamit sa ibang bansa, this comment is for those na nagreact negatively sa "drug store" make-up na sinabi ni Ms. Rica.
High-end make-up: yung mga super mahal na make-up brands na nabibili sa sephora like mac, bobbi brown, etc.
Drug store make-up: RELATIVELY inexpensive make-ups, they are NOT that cheap. Pero much cheaper tlaga compared sa high-end ones. Para sa nag comment dyan na offensive si Ms. Rica, hey, bat ka na offend girl? Pinaghirapan nya ang pera so she can buy all she wants, if sensitive "Karen" ka, then wag ka na lang mag react negatively, don't spread bad vibes, for sure kht anong gawin ng mga vloggers always ka namang naooffend, magsumikap ka ko pra makabili ka rn.
Lastly, dollar store make-ups: eto na yung pinakamura sa lahat, it's equivalent to make-ups na nabibili ntn sa Pinas na d tlaga kbown ang brands, usually galing sila sa China. And be careful kase ang karamihan dto ay hnd safe lalo na pag sensitive ang skin mi.
Bago kayo mambash mag research po muna kayo. Swerte nyo mabait si Miss Rica.
Most make up artists in PH used mix of drug store and high end brands. Depends what works for you. I tried expensive ones that are worth it and some are over price. Elf eyebrow pencil is good and I also like Maybelline-light coverage similar to MAC. If you're into paraben free, vegan marami both local and international brand na maganda. I think because celebrity cia kaya nasanay sa expensive brands. I think if you have a good base- great skin, maganda talaga effect ng kht drug store pa yan
IR Lox Yeaj actually lagi lang ako nareregaluhan ng make up so i almost never buy! Paminsan minsan lang. kaya natuwa talaga ako na ang ganda naman pala ng mga drugstore makeup ☺️

There is a difference between sephora and Walmart make up brands! I honestly dont think she said anything bad! I myself buy make up from both stores!

Nyx is cruelty-free and great quality too!!! Elf is cruelty-free and inexpensive. Ulta is a mixed high-end and drugstore.

Ms. Rica, maybe you want to try Loreal's Infallible line po if going drugstore make up route. It works just as good as expensive make up. Long lasting coverage and does not transfer to your clothes. I'm sure you will even look more beautiful with it. :)

Elf is a good product. You need to use primer. Maybelline is the best mascara very comparable to brand makeup. Make up tutorial start from primer,foundation,concealer, etc. usually bloggers will try to compare drugstore makeup vs brand make up to see the pros and cons
Oo nga. Wla akong masyadong alam sa mga ganyan ganyan personal makeup lang alam ko pero nakakatuwa yung mga videos that compare!
Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio personally, I really think you don’t need make up at all. You’re blessed with good looks. You are one of the few who can get away with just mascara and lipstick. I agree those make up did not help at all.
