I hope we all know that it doesn't matter who is in the 'top job' because this is a systemic problem -- greed. We have allowed many of our economic sectors, to take advantage of the American people. It's disgusting and frightening for the future of our country. My husband and I will be retiring in the next two years n another country. We are absolutely worried that SS! will no longer be funded. we'll have to rely on his pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific Investment account with Stephanie Janis Stiefel my FA. Our national debt is bloating and expanding every month. Our government needs to get spending under control and cut the federal budget.

In all fairness, this man has no dependents, such as young kids or adult children in college relying on him to support them. A gay middle aged single man leaving a career to pursue his passion is very different than a married person with kids and a mortgage which is 30-40% of his income doing the same. That doesn't mean you can't pursue you passion at night or on the weekends. Absolutely do that....and wait for a time in your life until you can devote more time towards it.

Married or not, there are plenty of lessons to learn. There is always an excuse to put off doing what you you love... Marriage. Mortgage. The kids. I'm too old... And so on. My point? There's never a good enough time. Just do it!

The wisest thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on government paycheck, especially with the current economic crisis around the world.
This is still a time to invest in Stocks, Forex and Digital currencies.

I'm 58 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for…

You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst

Hey, I'm 61...is this guy single? I don't look my age and certainly do not fit in society's opinion of what a 61 year old woman should look like or act like. This is an intelligent man that is living his life to the fullest. Like someone said in the comments...life is not over at 50 or 60 or 70 or so on. Why does societies opinion see 50 plus as too old? I truly think it really depends on the person and their own outlook on life and themselves.

Tips before everyone runs out their job to do something fulfilling. Coming from a broke 32 year old who fucked up his career because it was so meaningless (and now I think I've got ADHD which would suggest the executive dysfunction which led to me not being able to actually do work duties I was theoretically perfectly capable of doing.)
Do a solid 9-5, get a career coach to find high paying meaningless jobs, take drugs to get through them for a few years, focus on finding meaning and fulfilment outside of work through relationships and hobbies, find genuine connection in your life outside of work and forget about finding it within work. Preferably work remote so you can save more money, invest the money sensibly, grow it as much as you can, and then once you've hit a fair few triple digits in the bank, then you can quit and go pursue something meaningless. This is my plan from now on I just wish I'd known when I was younger.

I'm so happy when I was younger that there was no social media because I focus on wealth and creating a great life style through investing, compared to wasting time doing videos and explaining life's struggles. Life is gonna eat you up when you're in your 50's unless you have a substantial amount of money. It's true, that you should not make money the first focus but it better be your second focus or your be a struggling influencer.

I´m going to make an assumption that our friend Mike is like me, and...he´s gay. Which is cool because I have to guess. The ones I dislike are the ones you don´t HAVE to guess because they have the fake accent and all the weirdness. Mike is normal, and I like that very much. So, being raised around straight people, normal, I got to see how normal works and I love it! There are things I don't love about it and, I just don´t adopt them. But, I think you pegged Mike as "youthful", which is nice. That´s a great cotrast from " man child", is something bad. For me at 55, aging is like walking in a straight line you have no choice over. You are all happy and stuff and then, you see a meteor named "cancer" kill someone walking like you are walking. You wake up one morning and something hurts and it hurts very badly! You never wanna feel that pain again. So, you start to become fearful of that pain. That is bad aging. Mike is an example of good aging.

I've been watching your channel for a while now and this video to me is the one I connect with the most. I can relate to what Mike said about being creative and into the arts. He is right about when being an adult, you forget (but you don't) your creative side of you because everyone around you is so damn serious all day everyday and its all about work, paycheck, overtime and thats it. I've also worked in retail for over 10 years till I changed my career and I love my career but I love my hobbies and travelling more. I can also relate to him talking about people need to be more authentic and vulnerable because thats how you come across genuine and relatable people and maybe even long term friendship. Now the cat thing, I don't do but I would rather marry my better half/equal/amazing/bff husband and have my amazing kids ☺.

Fellow artists, I invite you to consider how your survivor bias (in this context, our tendency to compare ourselves to an artist gaining recognition for his art - I’d never heard of him so he’s not super famous, but more famous than you or I) because comparison kills creativity. I think it’s best for our life to do our own thing, not make it a condition of fame or being interviewed as having something noteworthy to say. This artist was bold enough to do his thing…to follow his Muse so to speak. It’s his, not ours. We cannot follow any other person’s example of originality, but we can catch that fire and be inspired by the common energy that gives rise to your own. We must find ours. It’s wisdom to stop seeking fulfillment through a life simulation based on his, or any other creative example. Consider this…What happens to the seeker that never finds? Buy your own darn tiara. ❤

My young daughter convinced / strong armed me into adopting 2 stray kittens and then never had anything to do with them again (she lived primarily with her mom). I appreciate all animals, but had zero desire to own and care for them as I already had a dog and many other responsibilities / had to leave town for weeks at a time.

I have seen so many “50 is the new 40” or “I am 40 and look like 30”. To me it is still denial comment. Women body will confirm our age. Like for example, good luck try to get pregnant now, your body is not 35 anymore.
It doesn’t matter what people think of our age. We are who we are. Embrace it.
