Ohh dear! I thought that was the best coaster there! Mind you, flat rides here a world class; how can anyone not like The Moser ride Speedflip?! That is amazing!
Yea Speed Flip was an incredible ride, and spent the best part of 2008 at the park. Unfortunately though, Joey has it up for sale, so its in storage currently... hopefully it will show up somewhere in the uk again soon :)
Another ride I hate manufactured by Fabbri is Pandermonium at Drayton Manor. Uses the same restraints as Excalibur 2 and even before I was upside down my restraint moved and I felt well unsafe! However, Fabbri have got some nice flat rides under their belt. Fabbri Boosters are amazing and feel very safe too! :D
Lol yea was a pretty nice flat ride, ride was usually either operated by Joey Silcock, or Martin (themaineak on youtube) lol he's amazing at operating them :) Not sure it was always on manual mode though, must have been on it about 20 times last year at New Pleasureland, and nearly every ride was the same... 2009 for New Pleasureland should see some new thrill rides appearing,as well as some making a reappearence, and some traditional attractions, such as waltzers, twisters etc, so not too bad
Not too bad. I am sure though that my ride on Speed Flip was manual controlled. I even watched the guy lock and un lock the cars and stop so some riders (it was me that time!) upside down! Fantastic! I am sure this would be hard to to on automatic mode!
Possibly, although it depends on next year's ride line up, if there are great thrill rides there for long periods of time (including Mad Mouse coasters etc like the one last Easter that was there) then the place will probably do pretty well, but there are so many large fairs, that i doubt that if any major thrill rides do appear, they will stay long :(
Yeah, i agree, Storm was one of NPL's highlights, but for some reason its been sold :( Hopefully it will be getting replaced though by a new attraction next year :)
Haha! I liked the way the restrains where loose on the Speed Flip; I did feel safe. However Fabbri rides are the worst, Excaliber 2 at Camelot was horrible! Really felt like I was falling out!
yea, i will admit, i did ride it once, and it was operated on manual mode, was hung upside down as well lol (didnt enjoy that bit), but usually its operated on auto, coz apparently its really hard to operate manually... ah well lol
Thats not a bad idea actually! Whirlwind is a travelling model at Camelot anyway, so that would be a good idea to set up at New Pleasureland. Should bring in quite a number of visitors too, with there not being many spinning coatsers like that in the UK. The Rack would be pretty good at NPL too coz of its uniqueness, but i dont think it would be very easy to move, so not sure about that one... Gonna be wierd without Camelot though lol
nah lol although the restraints are pretty loose on me, i dont mind that, its the way the blood rushes to your head and i get a headache and feel really sick when that happens. At Wirral Show 2008, i went on Super Spin and was hung upside down, which gave me a bad headache coz we were hung upside down for quite a while lol
As of yet, nothing has been said of any new perminant rides, except for the Rock N Roll Express Matterhorn, which appeared earlier this year, and was New Pleasureland's first perminant ride. There have been some rumours going around, but as of yet, nothing has been confirmed for next year...
Not sure what you mean by this... if you mean Dreamstorm may be developing the site, yes, ive read that they want to create an all year round climate controlled attraction, but not heard anything of a confirmed indoor park as of yet, Dreamstorm deffinately only have the land until the end of this year, the site may re-developed by Urban Splash nexy year into flats... hopefully not though!
Ohh Dear! That was the best flat ride in the UK and the ride op was fantastic; with his voice over and long ride patetrn always on manual mode! Look like 2009 for New Pleasureland looks rubbish!

Yes, sadly Storm was sold off over the winter season and has been now moved elsewhere... no one can be sure if it is going to be replaced or not.

Yea, were all hoping a new one will appear, but as of now, the arrival of a coaster is still unsure...

Ohhh, Chaos? Thats at Lightwater Valley Theme Park now i think :)

How come you do not like being hung upside down on the Speed Flip?! Maybe because the restraints are loose or something? lol!
Is storm no more?
Just wondering, whats a caous?

Yea i agree, Excalibur 2 was the worst! I was swearing all the way round, n must have gone around about 12 times :( wasnt happy lol worst ride ever!
