Thanks sir. LOL - I've been robbed :). Honestly, I'm not sure what else to do other than continue to try my best to produce good content. Comments, Subscribes, and Thumbs Up always help though so thank you!
Try the Diezel Minnowz in the gold rush color, the black over gold is an awesome color pattern, casts a good silhouette in off-colored water and the gold flash drives inshore fish crazy, especially reds.
Ron.........Have a 2020 Outback currently without any electronics. Would you mind sharing the components you chose? Also, please comment on it's usefulness on the water.
Sure. The electronics I use are the same as shown in this video ua-cam.com/video/iNvnp5uNOeE/v-deo.html and they are listed on my shop page gear.kayakfishingaddict.com A fish finder in a 3’ deep marsh is only useful for gps. It only finds fish in deeper water. That’s really the only issue.
@@KayakFishingAddict lol it's cool man. I just saw this in my recommended feed. I didn't realize it until now, but your video on how to install the Garmin Striker saved me couple of months ago.
Nice video, Ron. I enjoy your channel. I have a question for you - what pound-test braided line do you use on your baitcasters? I primarily use spinning gear but do use one baitcaster with 30 lb braid occasionally. I'm wondering if 20 or 25 lb would be better for casting distance while still limiting the chances for the line to dig into the spool. Thanks for your insight. Fish on!

Hi Jackson. If you're catching flounder you're likely letting the lure hit the bottom and then popping it up. If you want to attract redfish, swim your paddle tail in the middle of the water column with a mainly straight retrieve....you can pause and twitch from time to time but keep it off the bottom.
Fished your local marsh this past Monday and caught a nice size flounder Ron. I used the DOA figi chic for a lure. I hope to get down there again soon. I am from Jax
A lot depends on the water color. When fishing this bait it's best to try to match the water color. Of course, if there's no fish the chances drop dramatically ....so it could have been that too.
Great question. #1 - GPS - helps me find my way home after getting lost in the marsh; #2 - DEPTH - how deep is it where I currently am; #3 - very rarely to find fish. The reason for #3 is that you must be in deeper water than I am normally in, in order for it to see fish.
@@KayakFishingAddict Also when trolling, you want to keep your speed in the correct range - we find 1.5-1.8 knots in 2-3 feet with 1/8 and 1/4 oz. swimbaits.
Just found your channel I’ve learned a lot in a few days, I’m new to fishing and i always hear find the the current find the fish but how do you find current? can you see current ? What is current and I know tides go up and down just need help current moving water
Hi Tito. Welcome to the channel! Good question... "find the current" simply means "look for moving water". If you're in a kayak and your kayak is moving without any paddle/peddle effort on your part, you're sitting in current. If you see things floating by, or rushing by, when you're anchored up then you're in current (or simply moving water). Does that help?
Missed your videos Ron glad to see you back my brother can’t go wrong with the z-man diezel minnowz great lure choices man can’t wait till next time tight lines Ron

Ok ok, I see you with the good editing and content, but I'm not subbing if you're one of those UA-camrs who only upload once per month.
Your move...
Thanks for your comment. I totally understand. I upload as often as life allows and my track record hopefully shows that :).

Heck yea!!! Hope you had a good get away from UA-cam. lol. Looks like you picked up right where you left off, eh? Nice fish!
