Thank you for the explanations. Some of the reasons I have heard about slow growth is that the baby wants to crawl or walk, so no need to gain weight. Others are attributed to teething. Please, do these play any part in baby's growth rate?

A crawling baby uses more energy than one who is not crawling, so if every other thing is the same, the crawling baby should grow a bit more slowly. But this difference should not be much

Im super worried because my 11 month old baby boy is only 27 inches long. His weight is normal bur he seems to have stopped growing in length.
