I’ve tried to do this exact run. I just kept running into one problem. At 6:16 you jump from that little building to the one with the SEAF SAM site. I keep smacking the building and falling to the ground. Idk if there’s a certain way to do it but either that or I’d do almost exactly what you did where I sit there pushed against the building and I couldn’t climb on top of it. Ruined my whole run
Damn, sucks to hear that :( What i do is hit S right before touching the wall to lose momentum. If you're on PS that would probably be analog stick down. It's one of the trickiest jumps, if you're unable to pull it off i suggest just staying on the lower building, should work too.

I personally generally tend to prefer the Eagle Strafing Run to the 500kg as the number of uses is much higher and it's great at dealing with parked ships' shields, but this is still a great loadout regardless; I'm gonna try it out.
@@Sarge94 gas strike is an instant destruction for crashed warp ships. However still has a 1 min cooldown meaning although when you have an outpost with 3 or more ships its good since you dont have to jump down, it does mean you have to wait asecond before jumping across to the next ship (and its also just a really solid chaff clearer)

@@kjm3672 I'd agree fully, if not for the arc and AOE of explosions. You gotta earn it before it's "good good", and that involves a lot of blowing yourself up when you shoot an enemy that's too close, and missing targets completely.

holy shit. why is this the literal first time im realizing you can go ON BUILDINGS with the jump pack lol. i got so used to early helldivers 2 gameplay teaching me not to use high ground i entirely forgot it was even a possibility in this new setting.
5:20 imagine if we had a sentry stratagem where its whole purpose was to distract enemies. It has a rlly low cooldown, a bunch of health and just somehow calls attention to itself, it would go so hard for stealth plays tbh
This is how I like to engage the squid scum. But I like the purifier cause on the ground the charge shot never skips off the ground and the you have the option for the rapid fire and it's more ammo efficient. You need the grenade pistol though and I do miss the redeemer for harvester shields. Pairs well with HMG or laser cannon. I like to bring gas nades, an MG turret and the walking barrage for clearing UFOs. The walking barrage is incredible for that. One shots them with the shields up.
Since I bought this game around Christmas time I have been noticing everyone talking about the crossbow and see you use it I can see why. Do you think they will nerf the crossbow eventually?
It's really OP. Its only real downsides: 5 shots per magazine, longer reload, and it requires precision aim. But it's so good in the right hands. Fortunately, it seems they're done nerfing primary guns. What is most likely is improving other guns to match it.

Very well played. I can't wait until they add in the last half of the roster. They're a little stale currently in my opinion. As it stands, I SUBSTANTIALLY prefer fighting against bots. Probably because i just love the new and improved RR so much.
I find the MG-43 Machine Gun better against the Illuminate than the MG-206 HMG, it's have more controlable recoil, more ammo and a better scope, and it still can kill Harvesters the same way as the HMG.
Uhm actually, machine gun only does mid armor penetrating and harvesters are mostly heavily armored (some parts are mid tho). Which means more precise aim. And ik, hmg has more recoil but needs less aim + more dmg, thus i find it better
@@Sarge94 Just saying, the JAR-5 Dominator is also surprisingly good against the Illuminates, can oneshot headshot Overseers and Elevated Overseers, can take out a Harvester with less than one mag. Purifier is really cool against Voteless, fully charged shot can result in quadkills, better than the Scorcher itself.
@@K_Balu yeah Purifier and MG-43 will most likely be the next weapon combo, those charged shots from rooftops are just too strong. Speaking of the JAR-5, do you know if it's capable of destroying spawners?
i think they could nerf this strategy by allowing the voteless to climb like scramble clumsily up the side of the building like a relentless horde meaning that not even on high ground are you safe high ground would still be an advantage but not a free win you would need to watch your flanks plus it would really add to the whole horror element the illuminate currently have like imagine hordes upon hordes of voteless washing over all obstacles clambering onto the high ground no where is safe you can only fight
You know, even if that would decrease our advantage, I would love to see them crawling. It would give you a true zombie apocalypse vibe and would keep us in constant movement. IMO would rocks

The reason why i prefer the 500kg is because it allows you to destroy ships without going down and use them as platforms to jump onto buildings.

All my level 10 missions are full of crossbows users of varying mental capacity. I think it makes the game too easy

Helldivers 1 had a thumper stratagem. Thing was OP for stealth runs.

I take the MG sentry often but I think the tesla tower might be better for solo.
