You know you are doing something unique when you get fifty different sub-genre names at once. I'm glad when a band just writes music instead of trying to fit into any particular genre.
It's excellent that Alex was so informative with his responses and very engaging in both questions. Also, love your interview style Daniel, Cheers BANGER \m/
Well said. Fallujah sounds great on Dreamless and are a fucking devastating act live. I saw them on the latest Devin Townsend tour in Worcester and they smashed it. I am the prog nerd who loves Porcupine Tree and Opeth and Tool and now I like Fallujah,
I've always thought of them as atmospheric/technical death metal. They're songs can be blistering fast but still have some of the best clean and ambient sections. Two good examples are the void alone and sapphire.
Please review Inquisition ' s Bloodshed Across the Empyrean altar beyond the celestial zenith and organize an interview with Dagon (front man of Inquisition).
Please make the interviews longer, 3 minutes is much too short. Interviews should be at least 8-10 minutes minimum. In the future you can do a 20 minute or 30 minute interview and cut it into parts and that keeps people coming back to the channel to watch the next part of the interview. Love everything on the channel but the 3 minute interviews are such a tease!
Check out our "Raw and Uncut" series for longer interviews. The "Blastbeat" series gives you the best bits of the interview. You will see more of it pop up in our docs and other shows. Cheers!
Same. I thought when the weird whammy sounding stuff (apparently that's achieved with a synth?) sounded better when it took a back seat to the tech death elements rather than being the focal point of the album. I'm interested to hear the new album, wouldn't quite say excited though.
MutilatedMetalhead Agree. Dreamless gets boring as hell after Scar Queen. On the Flesh Prevails every single song was memorable and the most important thing for Fallujah is their album flow. You can easily listen to The Flesh Prevails all at once. Not so with Dreamless.
yeah its was a dissapoint the flesh prevails was just masterpiece with awful production but dreamless just sounds flat and way too calculated is ok ....hope is just an experiment and come back with the more prog like flesh!!!
Isaac Zaladar This is how you make Dreamless an amazing album: 1. Remove "Amber Gaze". It's just too boring (imo) 2. Also get rid "The Prodigal Son". The part in between is simply too boring. 3. Get rid of "Les Silence" because it's just unnecessary 4. Get rid of "Wind for Wings" because the ending breaks the flow. My personal Dreamless Tracklist: 1. Face of Death (good intro) 2. Adrenaline (awesome follow-up) 3. The Void Alone (Album Highlight) 4. Abandon (great song) 5. Lacuna (just awesome) 6 Fidelio (short and sweet. Perfect follow-up for the harsh ending of Lacuna 7. Scar Queen (Fits better at the end) 8. Dreamless (For a smooth ending) I highly suggest you to try my tracklist. I think the flow is a LOT better like this. (You actually listen to the whole thing without feeling like skipping a part)
UrbanDanger ! i think remove .. dreamless and the other electronic "songs" and the album would be still ok.....the real problem is that fallujah avoid mostly the guitar atmospherics and the tech stuff...that's why sound not so awsome

Sometimes electronics can sound super cheesy in metal but Fallujah do it so well.
Really awesome band. Can't even remember how I found this band and now can't stop listening.

Daniel rules! He is a super gregarious and likeable person, super glad he's working with you guys. Love watching his stuff (Love you too Sam)
The Harvest Wombs is by far their best work to date. Great interview btw
10-4, other than Nomadic.
Killin it looking forward to more interviews
Awesome, I had no idea that he actually played the synths live.

love this band - really unique style!
Interesting. Thank you, Bangers TV.
Great response to the classification question.
Love them. Saw them on summer slaughter and they seemed like they're going places

That's awesome that he nor his band mates care what sub-genre he gets "categorized" in.
can't wait for their coming show in Mexico on december

I've watched all the "Raw and Uncut" interviews and love them. Thanx for replying, now I understand. Always love your content, keep up the good work!
Cool to see him mention Vangelis. I definitely thought there were some Blade Runner-inspired electronics on Dreamless.
that was like a two question interview ?:(
Dreamless was alright but I enjoyed The Flesh Prevails more

2:47 I call it god damn good music.
THAT WAS NOT THE SPEAKING VOICE I WAS EXPECTING TO COME OUT OF HIM LMFAO
Scott's guitar playing/song writing is the core of this band. The 'electronic' parts do nothing for me.
chill down, hair gel.
no, you're not the next big thing.
first?
not impressed by this band
