I use my forceps to tie this knot but never thought of using them to hold the hook while threading it. Excellent suggestion, thank you. A quick question. More times than not I’ll use the 16-20 knot over the clinch knot. I’ve never had any problems with either I simply like the size of the 16-20 plus the fact it clicks when tied properly as you cinch it down. What are your thoughts comparing the two knots? Is there any benefit of tieing this knot vs a Uni? Im a creature of habit so I tie Unit and Double Uni knots but I see a lot of people using a clinch knot to tie tippet to fly.
@@AZFlyShop K, wasn't sure if this knot works best because how it may present the fly on the line. I guess its not going to be that different from a Uni
