  • I recently made a table with pallet wood and epoxy, so today I am going to follow a similar method but with some firewood mill ends. These mill ends are in my opinion too good to throw into a fire, so I am going to show you how to make a custom table top for an outdoor table with them instead.
You won't need much setup to do a woodworking project like this, some of the equipment I used:
    - Firewood mill ends
    - Plywood
    - Epoxy
    - Cling wrap
    - Arbortech Power Unit
It turned out beautifully (the wife is pleased!) and it was a fun, easy project to do, but as you can see very effective. Perfect if you don't have a big shed or lots of woodworking gear.
Leave me a comment about what you think or if you have any questions!!

Is epoxy stronger than wood glue?

Hi Brian, the Power Carver is a new product from Arbortech. It is basically a bespoke grinder with variable speed control and a series of attachments that allow it to do planing and sanding with depth control and dust extraction. Definitely my new favorite tool. It is on sale in Australia and Europe but the American 110V version will not be available till September due to holdups with certification and freight problems caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. If you are in North America, just watch the Arbortech page and they will announce when it is available.
