I just got my email saying I'm up next from Ultra Molds for my full-size Shooting Star. Looks like you beat the price increase. I didn't, and I don't mind. It's Brandon's fault with all these price increases. I also added the large 1:3, 10oz injector, a 1:1, 14oz injector, and the swirl injector. I bought a couple of heat blocks also. I bought 6 of their new released molds too. I can't wait to get it. I started about 25 years ago pouring from those little tin pans from LureCraft. Then a few years back I got into injections. It took me a while, but now I've got about 125 aluminum and 75 or so silicone molds. Some of the silicone molds I'll never get rid of them. Not only are the good molds, but they're also sentimental. I'll be the same way with my Shooting Star. The best part of the video was the ending! We'll have to do a bait trade soon! God bless you sir!
Where do you guys market to have enough customers that you even need a shooting star? I pay for all the Fb and insta ads, a few other third party marketing things and I'm just danglin' on a thread. Business is consistent, but it's not busy like I would like. I am working and hoping I can get to the point where I am doing mass volume of soft plastics that requires a "Shooting Star" to obtain one. Any advice or direction would be much appreciated. Thank You.
I go to a public events around town sell them at sales events the town puts on. Other than that just word of mouth. I don’t sell a ton just love doing it. Keep it up I’m sure you will get there just don’t give up.
