Well, you were right. A little pricey, but for someone cranking out injection products, the time you save for clamping, unclamping, and not having to do reruns for flashing failures would probably be cost effective pretty quickly. Enjoy the new toy! 😃 PS I was half expecting the drum roll before the first run was clamped into place. 😎
Glad to hear your better. Air clamps are amazing. I’ve made a couple for my work shop for my molds a couple years ago. Glad to see more people making them for the hobby.
See video pop up in feed with 15 views posted 4 minutes ago. Click on video and it has 37 views. Guess people are just as excited as me to watch some master bait making on a Friday morning!
I need to make something like this for my garage. It would pair nicely with my pneumatic can crusher. To speed up adjustment of your back plane you can swap those bolts for thumbscrews. 8 is probably overkill if you ask me. What psi are you running that on?
I've seen this on a few other channels, and while cool looking, I don't do the volume of baits to need it. I did want to get your opinion on the Ultramolds Shooting Star, as the multiple ports to withdraw the plastisol and the holder really seems like it minimizes plastisol loss. Also, what are your feelings on using cooling plates between the molds to help the plastisol firm up faster? It seems like the hobbyists are on the brink of an industrial revolution.
Well the shooting star is one of the oldest systems we have and to me it is still the best one. I have not used chill plates with actual injection molds yet, some of my production friends swear by them
Chris again you really come through with great information and to answer your question about which bait is my favorite well all of them came out great can’t choose just one !!!!!!! Thank you
That’s it, I’m inspired to build. Monday I’ll start machining myself an injector and trying to make some baits. LOVE THE FLUKES and the craws. But them speed worms were beautiful
I like your vdo so much, the bait design is very interesting. Unfortunately I have only Ultra Light stuff and I want to do the small bait (Ajing Bait). It has a mold that smaller than yours? Please give me your advice.
Good Stuff man! The air clamp is a game changer when looking to produce lots of baits! Now if we could just get all the molds the same height! Good stuff Chris.
Air clamps make things so much better I started using one almost a year ago and it made all the difference same with cooling plates they make my life so much easier
love you new toy, and both colors are amazing! i'm just about ready to start doing some pouring, my first! ordering my duel injector monday and my first molds from bass tackle tomorrow! enjoy watching you videos Chris
Chris, for the short molds put a longer one 1st? then no worries.. great pieces added to your bait making! thumbs up and yes a T handle wrench make adjustments easier for sure.
Wow Chris, you're walkin' in some purty tall cotton now. What a great video! I could see how great it would work in a high volume situation. I've got to mix up some of that green pumpkin blue highlite color. All the worms are the best! Thanks for the video.
Just have a couple of 2x4 pieces in the wings and add them when you need them. Hit the button and you never have to move the right side ever again. Nice machine.
Does that system have a moisture trap in line or maybe its on your compressor? I work with pneumatics at work, moisture will destroy those pneumatic actuators. When air is compressed quite a bit of moisture falls out of it and if it builds up the air will push it inside the actuators. Id totally buy something like that but since its something I know extensively Im thinking of building my own.
PLEASE do a muskie or pike 6" or 4" hand pour, I would love to see that just like I watch and love all your other vids. Keep up the good work but it would be really cool if you did one of those designs!😊
17:10 I have a question wouldn't it be easier to just stack extra molds behind the molds your going to use so you don't have to constantly be readjusting the machine to the right size and just cover the molds your not using so you don't accidentally fill them up just asking I was just a little curious about that.
I really love the slightly desaturated colors on the laminates. One of my pet peeves when I see people running plastics is they way over do the colors and their baits come out looking like crayons rather than lures. You don’t do that but I see it a lot from new guys.
Been watching your channel for the last couple weeks I'm wanting to make my own baits I've been trying to find blueprints for the injectors could you possibly give me the nozzle tip dimension so I can machine my own
Love your videos I can't stop watching them it's like I'm addicted to them keep up the good work. I would love to start a business like this but its going to take me some time im from lower currency country. Would love to support you business too one day.
its nice to hear everything is going great with you mate !! i really love your colorss everytime i see a video from you another thing you should try belgian beer hahah :D greetings from Belgium
My good friend had covid19 and didn't even know till almost the end of having it. I worked with him every day during this and didn't catch it. Don't know how true the O blood type thing is but I do have O+ . but anyway covid is weird. Still havent met many people it hit hard.
@@WorldsWorstFishing did the whole family get it? Sorry to hear. Glad you are feeling better. I was starting to wonder what happened. Can't remember if you updated everyone before now
The cooling plate needs to be incorporated into the clamp process on bottom And the sliding clamp lock has to be on top of the cooling plate for the lockdown Through a top ratcheting device With a Spring loaded thumb bar on the Backside So Slide bar Can be incorporated This method would Eliminate the screws In the lock down part of the system
Is this thing not awesome!! Thanks for watching.

Just ordered one haha
a t-handle allen wrench would make the loosening and tightening of the bolts much easier and faster
Absolutely, my basic Allen wrenches are slow pokes
get a drill allen set from amazon
Glad to hear your better. Air clamps are amazing. I’ve made a couple for my work shop for my molds a couple years ago. Glad to see more people making them for the hobby.
Yeah it is seriously awesome stuff
@@WorldsWorstFishing for not much over $100 I think it was, best thing I built. I spent more on clamps then it cost to build one of these.
Nice to see you upgrade Chris!! That's awesome, moving up and forward. Love your videos!
It's definitely a a great tool
@@WorldsWorstFishing it sure is, congrats
Also wondering why not use longer mold both front and back to stabilize the pressure on All the molds? Just curious

80 is the default setting
that is a major time saver hope your recovery is quick and painless
Things are going well, thank you.

This is an awesome awesome piece of machinery definitely check it out, hope you enjoy the video
Awesome to see you safe now, I know exactly how you were feeling I've got the same symptoms as covid and had them for last 15 years. Stay safe.. Gazza
Hi Chris, can you add the link to his website here? Thanks for another Awesome Video! Get well!
so good to see you up and back at it bud back to baits and bass
How could I purchase some of these. Don’t really want to get into molding. Like to help a person that does though.
Love the new addition👍👍👍 Watermelon blue also very cool. Glad you are back and healthy😆😆😆
That clamp is sick! Love the big worms!
Thanks man
Hello from Germany!
Great that You are OK again!
We have the super bright red/orange lipless baits available. How about some custom red/orange craws?
Actually thought that the Pneumatic Vice would have been bolted to the workbench ...
Brilliant Machine !!!
Up there with Safety in mind as well !!!
The whole thing is surprisingly portable
Next level right there...Mind is racing... thanks for sharing Chris !!
👍👍👍
Chris again you really come through with great information and to answer your question about which bait is my favorite well all of them came out great can’t choose just one !!!!!!! Thank you

Swimbait open pour in blue watermelon. Great work Chris on color.
I had a feeling you were rigging up a air clamp. Very nice. Love it.
Yeah they're pretty sweet
so what do you do with all your baits?
Man that thing is freaking cool! I still wanna see a video with your top 5 or 10 molds, and favorite colors for each mold
👍
That’s it, I’m inspired to build. Monday I’ll start machining myself an injector and trying to make some baits. LOVE THE FLUKES and the craws. But them speed worms were beautiful
Good luck with your endeavors and thanks for watching the video
Have you tried using float plastic in core mold then in core use one that sinks for neutral bouancy? Or visa versa with plastic
I just bought my first mold and everything to go with it bc of your videos! I can’t wait to catch something off my own lures!!
You'll never forget it
That's a great beer kind, thanks for recommending it!!
I like your vdo so much, the bait design is very interesting. Unfortunately I have only Ultra Light stuff and I want to do the small bait (Ajing Bait). It has a mold that smaller than yours? Please give me your advice.
I can make you a single rail version that would support your molds! Let me know if I can help you, I’ll try everything I can to make that happen!!!
Good Stuff man! The air clamp is a game changer when looking to produce lots of baits! Now if we could just get all the molds the same height! Good stuff Chris.
Haha I know..those mold makers better get their act together 😁
The cooling plate needs a cup holder for your drink also won't cooling down the aluminum mold too fast cause warping
Yes it can cause that especially in open pours.. it's like anything else it's all about timing and practice
Air clamps make things so much better I started using one almost a year ago and it made all the difference same with cooling plates they make my life so much easier
Just really liking that Jerk Bait mold. You’ve produced some truly awesome combos from it.
Thank you
Chris can you tell me what AI Finese worm mold were you using in the first pour on the air vise?
loving that watermelon blue i need some of those in my life especially in a craw and worm
It's a good color definitely get some
I’ve had Kyle’s clamp for quite sometime! Great product.
My chiller plates work great. I have one plate built in to the vise and four others that I can put between the molds.
@@bfobaits thanks buddy, I’m glad you’re enjoying it!!

That's a good question I have seen moisture traps on a few airbrush systems, I will definitely ask
I did something similar to the watermelon blue, subbing watermelon with green pumpkin and add blue highlight powder. Came out really nice looking.
Yeah it's a winning combination
Awesome video as always I would of put the big molds in front of the grass grenades so there’s no risk of messing up the clamp
Good tip!
That watermelon blue is awesome
A break time upload! Awesome!
Yes sir rise and shine
Do you do custom orders for customers?
PLEASE do a muskie or pike 6" or 4" hand pour, I would love to see that just like I watch and love all your other vids. Keep up the good work but it would be really cool if you did one of those designs!😊
Like the shape of a pike? Or the pattern?
@@WorldsWorstFishing mostly the pattern, but the shape would also be awesome if you could do that!
I agree with Coby. But the patterns for now .
A long, “T” handled Allen Wrench would be best for adjusting the stop
Indeed
Could you use those chilly plates with hot water to warm your molds up?
Possibly but a hot griddle would be much more efficient

Sweet, I was wondering what you bought based on your tease the other day.
Yeah it's one tough machine
line up a bunch of cavities!! i nearly spat my beer out laughing
Well that technically is the terminology we use... For better or worse
How many units can you make in a 12 hour day?
Nice...very nice.
Yessir
All were my Favorite great job my son makes baits off these molds and I’m sure he will want that air clamp
It's definitely an awesome machine
Did you have to do any other mods to your molds besides removing the threaded studs?
No, just the bolts
I'm a simple man.....I see pneumatic air vice......I click
Haha your heart is pure
I am not a bait maker and have no asperations of becoming one but i love to watch your channel , dont stop playing with plastic
We not stopping! Thanks for watching
Grass Granada neat clamp
👍
To add more to the guy's comment about making the Musky/ Pike open pours,,please try to make them with a wire inside so we can add treble hooks
Love the bunch bugs and the craws
🙌
Do you have an epic bait molds?
I do not.. I work closely with angling AI molds
I really love the slightly desaturated colors on the laminates. One of my pet peeves when I see people running plastics is they way over do the colors and their baits come out looking like crayons rather than lures. You don’t do that but I see it a lot from new guys.
especially with hand pours, oversaturation is the worst
Fan of the 7in ribbon tail. I'm actually purchasing the mold now
It is listed as the five inch ribbon tail, it hangs to seven inches
Loved the flukes. 100% my favorite.
Probably doesn't help my pb over 10 was caught on a watermelon Black flake zoom super fluke.
Haha that helps
do you sell any baits any more
I sell occasionally through my Instagram
Those punch bugs were awesome
Thank you
Been watching your channel for the last couple weeks I'm wanting to make my own baits I've been trying to find blueprints for the injectors could you possibly give me the nozzle tip dimension so I can machine my own

Ok thank you

Beautiful his work, I accompany you to a good time has always tips, congratulations for work, I make shrimps for use.
👍👍
No more potential pitting?! EVEN PRESSURE ACROSS ALL MOLDS?!? Yeeeeee yeeee
When I found out that certain molds had no flashing I became a believer.

I've machined metal with pnuematic air vise's. There awesome
Yeah it's sweet
Glad your feeling better. I know the virus was rough for my family .
You realize when you are clamping the narrow molds you can use one of your longer ones next to the clamp heads for a maximum clamping footprint.
Absolutely, but I wanted to show that the clamp was designed for you to fit smaller molds on both rails and still get coverage from the Pistons.
400 is not expensive at all. Thanks for sharing👍🏼
Yeah a very reasonable price for such a specialized piece of equipment
Great video loved this one 😍😍😍
Thank you man

I feel like this is just a very expansive clamp
It is..but it's automated and provides mega pressure that is even..a major improvement over any traditional vice or hand clamps
Muito bom!
I like to make my baits without clamps, just use your hand and hold it tight!!!
It's terrifying to know that you have reproduced twice
Maybe even more than that. Not true who salt shakers father is!

I actually make all that kind off stuff anything air and hydraulic from pneumatic to hydraulic cylinders down in Australia 🇦🇺 a
Sounds awesome man this stuff is so neat
I just use zip locs for my baits. Anyone think I need to use the ‘clear’ bags
Yes you need a laminated worm bag so it will not leach oils
👌🏼Thanks man
Flip molded around next time
No need to adjust the clamp just use a mold as a packer

Haha, it can be done
