Thanks for the video! Very informative! I just bought the red book 2nd edition of Buffalo and Jefferson nickels. It's a great book if you are starting to get in to Buffalo and Jefferson nickel. This tells you what to look for sharp details coins. Keep up the great work!
Recently I cut open a 1970 MINTSET The Jefferson Nickel looked really nice. So i am new to grading coins I sent it to PCGS...18 weeks Later. They graded it as a Proof 65 and not a MS.... I assumed 1970 MS coins come from a MINT SET...OR can you get a Proof coin from Mint Set. I have several 1970 MINT SETS I purchased during Covid and would like to Try NGC this time.
Just got paid today, got me a pocketful of change!
I just picked up two, 1975 D mint nickels...about MS 65, Raw, and FULL STEPS...I paid just a few bucks. Years from now, I feel, they will do well

Thanks so very much for the information and the help that you are. ‘II be honest and tell you that I am so glad that you go into a great detail in your videos because I had coins and especially the sets. He had started me me and my twin brother’s sets as well from the 1950’s. While Jackie as I called him. He thought More about the Army than anything else. So, he asked me to do his sets and coins for him. That was in 1977 as we graduated High School that I took over his set & coins.

My Keen eyes are telling you to look for the 2k-11nickle,there are many that have a wonderful luster effect.those are keepers.for being in circles for 7yrs they're worth hunting good will.

If you got a group of coins like more than 5 you want to send in get a membership; however make sure you know your coins. Research the coin you think you have, make sure it’s either in the cherry pickers guide or aleast talked about somewhere or it’s a variety coin anything that guarantees what you have is not a potential error or variety. Make sure you send in your coins with facts on the error or variety UNLESS YOU ARE AIMING TO SEND IT IN FOR THAT HIGH GRADE MS 67 plus and up then do that. Just get the membership because whether it’s Ngc or PCgs even Amex it’s going to get costly quick believe me. Takes money to make money, less you got lucky being born into royalty....

Yes I know what you're talking about because I have a 1995 Jefferson nickel payment is on reverse side and the front but it's you can read the letters on it

you bet, man...if I saw somebody selling P&D nickels from the 70s in mint cello on Ebay, i'd buy them in a minute...if the steps were nice on just one of the pair.

7rowdygirl all proofs have full steps. You want to look for Cameo coins you buy the set for only $6.50 and you find a cameo coin it could be worth up to about $90 coin that's money in the bank baby

What about an error in the 1943P Jefferson nickels I have had one for 50 years in very very good condition that is obviously nearly all Copper not silver like the wartime nickels were supposed to be. I need to find out the best way or who to contact to sell my 1943P Copper Nickel to help pay some recent unexpected things I hope it will cover my upcoming need or I’ll need to sell more of my 50years of collections. I take that back it is a 1977 Jefferson nickel and it has a J at the beginning of united like weaved into it but yet the J is very legible and then it goes u

It looks like this nickel is 74 of mine has been spray-painted and not buffed out even the sides and edges like double die the whole coin completely 100 percent covered even the edges 100% covered in double die I guess she just called something when this happens to a coin
