Glad they’ve been useful! The in game map is pretty good tbh, but there are a couple handfuls of things across all the areas that require just a bit too much work to be worth it, and knowing where things are and how to get them makes it much more worthwhile!

Awesome work. Damn !! This must have took an impressive amount of time. I didn´d own game yet. Falled in love to Souldiers and it´s pixel art world that impressed me so much. Your maps looks impressive Demajen and i m Amazed :) it reminds me the maps from steamworld dig 2 walkthroughs putted on internet which were designed so detailed and beautiful as yours. Isn´t that your work too? Anyway the best video so far :) Immediatelly liked. Thank you so much :)
Yeah, the SWD2 maps were me as well. I'm up to 30+ metroidvanias mapped now :)

You have very creative hobby, that i didn´t think i would meet so clever person as you :) This need a good visualisation, intuition to find all secrets, high IQ, have bigger sigh of whole game world so far, how map connects to each parts, which items connects to every peace of armor, ingredients, level, exp updates, or synchronicity of best timing which places can´t be visited and need to learn abilitys for later progress. Thinking on all about it i know you are very interesting person. Have such good memory for all of those details it´s damn hard. So my apologize to you. I m so happy that i meet the author itself of all maps you did for SWD2. Wau. Thank you so much. Really happy that you give a lot of people JOY instead frustrating situations in game when someone stuck and cannot go through another process. You are Amazing

Thanks for the map. Great help! Did you managed to cover all the area at the great pyramid after receiving the purple orb? I can’t find any area to use it.
It is used for the chest with the mana reliquary near the crystal-encased Bygul, no actual doors. I think that was the only use I found for it, which is kinda odd tbh.

Anyone else having issues with 74/75 Fire Temple chests? Also have 98% on the map and can’t figure out for the life of me where the last little bit is despite using the maps on here.

Hey there. I'm going for 100% but can't seem to find what's missing in Spider Lair. Please confirm to me if it's 69 chests we have to find. I confirmed everything, even counted. I seem to only have 67. I'm wondering if this is a bug or just me not seeing it!
Hi! I’ve heard from other comments that there are some bugged chests, unfortunately. That was at least a couple weeks ago but I guess the devs haven’t fixed it - I gave up on paying much attention to what they’re doing as they don’t seem to have a clue how to fix their game.
Does the game give the chests' location or do I need to use this video?
It shows you them on the ingame map if you get close enough to see them, but it doesn’t show them otherwise. :)

How do I reach the unreachable areas? Because without knowing this I can't complete them at 100%.
The 100% rate is actually for items. You don't need to uncover every tiny section of every map.
its such a shame i cant 100 percent the game on ps5 cause of some chests that dont check as opened , i really enjoyed the game but that killed my mood for future playthroughs
How do I break all the crystals to get the mana reliquary in Floating Module? I don't reach the top ones and I feel dumb
Ah crud, I meant to leave a note on the map about this: you've gotta use the Ionic Nail subweapon to bounce it off the angles and all over the screen. It'll take care of the upper ones. Usually. Gonna add that note to the Floating Module map!

The drop rate is 100% random I am afraid. It is pure luck.
If you are playing on PC, there is a Cheat Engine table to increase drop rate to 100% guarantee.

Please help, I m exploring the Sibuna desert, in the middle right of the desert, right side of the bounty miniboss, there is a sand that suppose to have hafin pendant+ , but somehow is there a way to break the sand n get the item? Or is it bug for me coz I can’t break it thanks
Should just be able to hit it and open the chest beneath. If it's not breaking, it's bugged I suspect. There's a lot of those in the game sadly.

Hello, how do you get the first chest that comes out in the temp west that does not appear to me
The one to the far left in the little extra cave accessed from the desert? With the Mana Reliquary inside? It was just there for me from what I can remember. Unless I had to kill all enemies in the room, but I usually note that on. Maybe I forgot!
@@demajen not the one on the far right coming out of the arachnid cave that one appears on the map at the beginning and it doesn't appear in the game for me
@@payoner90 Oh, the health potion one? That's weeeeeeird. I assumed it was there for everyone. Probably a bug. Game is absolutely full of them, sadly.

So I can't get 100% of the map anymore?
I'm not sure. That chest doesn't show up on the map as it is technically part of the "tutorial" version of Tempes Plains (West), so it may well not count at all towards the 100%.
With your amazing maps I managed to do 100% with all of them up to the fire temple map... I just don't get how you enter that secret area in the fire temple map to get the remaining chests... I am missing 3 of them... all of them revolve around the area where the bull statue fell... and there is a massive secret area on your map but there is no way of accessing - and there is nothing about how to enter it either
Ah, that's an annoying one as it's actually just a pass-through wall iirc. You access it view the border just above where the health potion is in the chest, where the secret area and the normal area meet.
(Unless I'm an idiot and I've missed off a breakable wall or something. I'm going through this map currently on my Caster, so I'll double check in case I've f*cked up!)
Once you've got through that one and lit the brazier, it'll lower the roots nearby and you can then use the sand crystal at the bottom of the longer shaft to get across to where the legendary fruit is (it makes more sense when you see it in game!)
Sounds about right... I had a feeling that brazier from the secreat area will affect the normal area nearby... when I get home will have to try your suggestion - if I got it right
@@demajen nailed it ... found the way , thanks... by the way what do you think about the new patch they added ? I think they made the entire difficulty of the game pointless and it wasn't worth it ... even on warrior difficulty it's too easy now
@@Dark_Angel555 I think the patch was a terrible kneejerk reaction made by developers with no experience in balancing a game. They addressed symptoms rather than underlying causes of the frustrations. Almost all the issues that I had with the game -- and I have a playthrough of pre-nerf footage coming soon on the channel that I've not had time to properly edit, so you can see them in action -- are still there. My biggest gripes were the healing system being far too stingy, the flying enemies being tedious to fight as the Scout, status effects lasting way too long (and cursed just being rediculously harsh) -- but there were other niggles too like the walljump just being utter bollocks at times in comparison to other games in the genre.
Should you be brave enough to venture onto Steam or its forums, my review with current issues is on there, and I've made a thread about what people said their issues were in their reviews, because I was getting tired of the overgeneralisation of "people just didn't like the challenge because they're babies".
@@demajen oh man ... yeah I red your review ... I was one of those people ... I have the nickname "noody" in the forum - still me in the picture there ... yeah my bad ... I know you worked hard for the maps and it was very profesional when you posted those statistics with the reviews ... you seem like a cool hard working dude and I respect that - so again sorry if I upset a bunch of people with my insults ... I probably played more metroidvania games than a lot of people and I got used to being super hard... hence my reaction.
It all started when hollow knight changed my view of how a 2d game should be ... not to mention playing blodless character in bloodstained rotn on nightmare difficulty - man that was insane ... It took me hours to defeat one of the bosses - albert that day .... I am a bit of a masochist lolo
This game is a nightmare. Even as an experienced Metroidvania player, it’s a little much. Not to mention clunky as hell.
With that being said, thanks for making it a little more bearable with these maps. 👍🏼
I agree. Game looks great, has good ideas, but generally poor execution and I have no idea what state it is in now and if it's received any more balance patches. Glad the maps helped, though! I enjoyed the exploration very much. Just a pity about the combat.
They really did an overhaul with the new patch so it better. At least they made the platinum possible now on PS. Finishing up the last trophy for 100% map competition using your maps on Google drive. Thanks again 🙏🏼
I'm sorry to say that if you still clunky after 5, 10 or 20 hours, maybe the clunky is not the game but the player.
