For my first ever acid trip, 10 years ago, I removed all music from my ipod and added 5 albums that I didnt know yet, this one among them. Especially the first track still hits me in the gut and takes me right back to the moment where I became slowly convinced the real world an my memories were not real and had never been. Quite a crushing trip but also strangely beautiful and it had a mostly positive effect on my life for sure.
I used to listen to this album and music like this a lot and it’s clear it brings me bk to myself.. but idn why it’s so hard to listen to this music even know I know it’s good for my healing. Idn why it just brings up so much negative feelings of guilt like idn just wont allow myself to relax into it. It reminds me of some deep inner knowing and I’m afraid to let go and embrace the new or real me? Sorry having trouble writing words. But does anyone else have lower vibrational feelings arise? Clearly the music is healing and maybe that’s why because it gets rid of what no longer serves us. I’m so scared to embrace my power and be me. A lot comes up of fear being judged by my family. I feel so different
The negative feelings arise to be resolved or healed, simply sit with it and observe them and the light of your awareness will transmute them and they will be released. When fear arises just recognise it as that, fear, which is just another form of imagining or thought but imbued with fearful feelings. They too can be transmuted if you simply sit with them and just observe how it dances, though it can be tricky as most are afraid to face their own fears but there is freedom and liberation to be found by moving through them.
Yup. I don’t care so much what people think about my taste in things. I’ve always been the odd one out and embraced my weirdness. But there are certain aspects of myself I can’t seem to accept and maybe it’s more about me judging myself. Sigh...i love both of your replies. I am learning how to let things arise without judging them or shoving them back down. I have so much anxiety lately. I guess it’s just I have trouble letting people see the real me walls down vulnerable..it’s scary to me.
