The Best Landing Pages to Sell & Deliver an Online Course
Вставка
- Опубліковано 19 вер 2024
- In this video, we dissect landing pages from three top online course creators. We analyze key elements that make these pages effective and suggest areas for improvement.
- Amy Porterfield's "Systems That Scale" page impresses with its professional design and trust-building content. It's conversion-focused and keeps visitors on track with a clear call to action.
- Marie Forleo's membership program page covers essential elements, though it could refine its content. We discuss layout, testimonials, and the about section placement.
- Pat Flynn's "Email Marketing Magic" page uses a video effectively in the hero section. We appreciate the concise copy and simplicity. The page lacks some call to actions.
We invite you to share your thoughts on which landing page works best for selling online courses. Subscribe for more content on online marketing, business, WordPress, and web design. For landing page reviews, email us at tony@thrivethemes.com.

More content like this, please! I love the real examples and how we can use Thrive Themes to make it happen.
Hey! It's been a while since I saw you in the comments section!
Thanks for reaching out, it means a lot.
By the way... Did you ever get around seeing the review that we did on your site?
- Tony
I agree.
LOL - Marie Forleo actually helped Amy Porterfield get started, and B-School is indeed an extensive course. That made me laugh, but I also agree that this breakdown is very comprehensive and very detailed. Thrive Themes does it again!
Had no idea, that is actually really cool haha! Glad you liked the video! - Tony
And this goes to show your sales page doesn’t have to be perfect just effective. Marie is an OG. She is the God Mother to just about every top female in the “expert industry” online. Or is one or two people removed from them.
Thanks for the video. I new Amy Porterfield and Patt Flynn already. Actually I was suprised that (without now going into details) Pat Flynn's didn't seem to me as professional as I would have expected.
Yeah, Patt's landing page isn't as sophisticated from a design stand point. But I'm not sure that that necessarily translates to less conversions... Would love to see the real numbers! - Tony
It would be great if you did a video on creating a landing page just for mobile. (I am a Thrive Themes subscriber.)
Noted!
So you have any data that proves these pages have beaten controls or is this just your opinon on the sites?
Hey Anthony - I don't know if these pages have beaten any controls. I don't know if they've been exposed to any kind of A/B test either.
I've only addressed them because they're good landing pages from my point of view, and because they're being used by very big and influential players in the space.
- Tony
Ok, but where do I find the smart mockups that you talk about at 04:35? How do they work?
Hi Felix! Great question.
Using Thrive Archirect, drag and drop a new block on your page. Switch to "page blocks" - default is "content blocks" - and, from the top of my head, try looking for Kwik page blocks. I know that theme comes with some of those!
Then you simply swap in and out images like I did in the video 🤗 - Tony
@@Thrivethemes Thanks, unfortunately that doesn't seem to work. There is no "page blocks" Option, just "Theme Blocks". But even there there's no "Kwik page blocks". I scrolled through all the blocks, none has the mockups in it. :-(
@@felixbeilharz Felix, do you have Kwik loaded inside your Thrive Theme Builder settings? You need to have it downloaded from the cloud, even if it's not "activated" as your companion theme. - Tony
Ps. As a last resort, reach out to support, they'll get you squared out asap!
How about a digital agency homepage can you make a review on the best one's that will give results
Love this idea! Having ran my own agency myself, I can definitely come up with some great examples that are easy to replicate with Thrive Architect.
Jotting this down to work on it soon! - Tony
@@Thrivethemes thanks can't wait... really need it
I'm curious: will there be new courses added to Thrive University (premium or free)?
Erik, do you have access to our internal meetings? 👀 Seems like you do... 🔮- Tony
@@Thrivethemes I wish. It'd be nice to give some feedback/ideas as to the direction of Thrive Themes as a long time customer, given the new takeover...
@@HeylMarketing Well, whether here, on our facebook group, or via email, I'm more than happy to listen to what you have to say, Erik.
Thrive Themes has always listened and will continue to listen to what our customers have to say. That's not going to change. 😊 - Tony
@@Thrivethemes Facebook groups... mhm... Maybe you might consider to move to a more professional plattform? I, for example, don't use Facebook, and for groups there are much better options, well, in my view anyway (and I know an ever growing number opf people who see this very similar).
NOW if only y'all would supply templates for us. Yes, I know y'all have templates, but A) they're outdated B) they're all for men. Even they 'girly' ones are clearly made by a man. I used TT for years but finally had to leave for this one reason. Heck I still have 'Focus' on a blog.
Hi Darlene, we have TONS of templates in the works! - Tony
That's great to know, Tony@@Thrivethemes. Have you got an expected timeline for those, by any chance? Thanks!
@@matthewnewnham-runner-writer I'm not allowed to disclose that, but... We won't make you wait too long. 😉 - Tony
Understood, Tony@@Thrivethemes. Thanks!
@@Thrivethemes Tony, will there be an option to view them on an extra webpage? For me they are always difficult to choose from, because I can't see them well enough.
@thrivethemes @DarleneToday I was just thinking that it would be great to have a template that closely matched Amy Porterfield's sales page. I sell to 2 different audiences, both mostly female. A template similar to Amy's page would make it a lot easier for me to create my own. I'm currently using the Ommi Thrive theme and I'd love to see some expanded offerings from Thrive - templates I could use to update my sales pages.
Taking notes, passing this on to our design team! - Tony
