This broke things down to the bare bones, simplifying the GIANT task of coding/designing an entire webpage into actionable, comprehensible steps. You explained in a way I will not forget or be flustered again. Thank you. And, a part of me was rooting for your kids, hoping from the first minute that you run out of your 5 minutes, haha.
I’ve always enjoyed taking my visitors on a “journey” Scrolling on phones is the most common behavior nowadays. Starting from the top with a strong message, customers will scroll to learn more about the product/service/idea. By presenting it in a fun way, that is backed with social proof(testimonials, statistics, references, etc.) and putting the focus on the problems you’re solving for them, you can create a wonderful Ui/UX that separates clients from the fact we’re trying to sell them something, while still getting a convincing message across that results in a conversion.
Your channel is single handedly changing lives out here. Deserves millions of subs. Have been binging all week. Will spread the word to everyone I know. Keep up the good fight.
It is scary. SO scary that I am in the exact position as you described in the video. Now I am almost done with a awesome website for my first client. Thank you so much!
If i could give you 10likes for this video, I certainly would. I have been a developer for decades, but what you have taught me in less than 8mins of this video is mind blowingly helpful and will save me countless hours trying to figure out what to do on a landing page. Thanks so much I got great value out of this video!
I just found out your youtube channel and I've to admit you guys really deserve millions of subscribers. Very very useful and easy to understand contents. Keep up the great work!
Great Structure Ran! One important thing to note is that having a crowded footer like the one we see here is not a good practice for a landing page, since the user can exit there to a blog, to a features page or to any page on your website that isn't aimed to convert. These are called leaks (every hyperlink in a landing page that allows the user to escape without converting), and we want to keep them at a minimum, always try to make sure the only thing a visitor can do in your landing page is to complete the desired action.
All of the Flux's videos makes these dreams so possible and brings so much clarity. Thanks a lot to Ran and the team for doing other videos too which are following the footsteps of Ran.
I'm not yet even done with the short video and it already gave me so much value. Some creators just make their videos too long and confusing for some reason. Glad I stumbled on this one!
I’ve spent all day looking for a video that shows me or at least explain to me the structure of a web site, No I know the structure is good, I just have to improve on content and optimize it a little bit more Thank you, You just got yourself a new subscriber, liker and commenter
Love the clarity and example websites you used to help us visualize what each section is to look like. Thank you so much for this short yet very insightful video.
This here just gave me an idea for a presentation i have in a few days. I was literally drawing a blank and this spurred so many idea in my brain. lol Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! I've studied many aspects of computer science from the 8-bit days up until current times, but I never had the essentials of a landing page described as well as you have done here. Thanks and GOD Bless!!!
For me it is the simplest and most effective video that explains in detail the good structure of a Landing Page. Thank you very much for your efforts and creativity
Thank you man, very very easy to watch and understand. When you explain everything just make sense, thats a very very good communication skill. Thank you again!
Wonderfully simple. Looking to start with your layout this week. My clients suffer with what I call "Kitchen Sink Syndrome' where they want to put EVERYTHING on the page!
Brilliant. You and the team and your guest speakers are constantly inspiring us, challenging and motivating us, keeping us learning and evolving - it really is making a difference its amazing what you are doing for the design community - thanks so much!
Always put two buttons in your header. Give your audience a choice, people like choices. So put in the main goal for example: Make an appointment and put in a secondary ghost button with for example: prices, about us etc.
Landing pages are intermediary pages that expand upon a social media post. You could have several landing pages targeting different groups of customers - they’re like flyers. A home page is what’s displayed on your domain (top-level) address. It’s like the front of your shop and is target to a more general focus of audience. …yep, I double checked. “A landing page is a standalone web page created to drive a specific audience to take a specific action. A homepage is the hub for a brand's website, introducing who they are and what they sell with a plethora of calls to action.”
I'm a humble Divi designer, not a professional, but I make enough money to support myself by creating websites for small businesses. When I start a new website and have no idea how the landing page should look, I typically download a preexisting layout, remove everything I don't like, and then edit what's left to make it visually appealing and include all of the client's requirements.
I have a slightly different take on features & benefits. Here's how I think about the distinction: A feature is something about the product, a benefit is a change it will make to someone's life. There's often overlap, like in the Tesla example the sound system is a feature, but it could be framed as a benefit: Lose yourself to bass!
The amount of value your videos provide to those of us new to the industry is insane. Thank you for all the hard work!
Means a lot 🙏 thanks!
