The narration doesn‘t provide enough context. Here‘s what happened:
If you‘re interested in becoming a jet pilot for the swiss army there‘s a two step process you have to go through.
The organization that does this process is called „SPHAIR“.
First, you have to go through a computer assessment where they test all sorts of thing (english, maths, geometry and more). If you pass this assessment, you can take part in a two week long course where you learn the basics of flying a small airplane. In these two weeks you‘re gonna do 11 flights.
Some of those who successfully passed the course were invited to take a round flight from Zurich airport that was going to be intercepted by f-18 fighter jets as a training exercise.
Source: I went through this whole SPHAIR process last year and passed but unfortunately wasn‘t invited on the round flight (only a few randomly chosen SPHAIR graduates were).

Yeah, there a SUPER rare find in the wild. They can usually be found somewhere in the ocean and/or species habitats called “military basses” that’s what I’ve heard at least

Along time ago, I already worked on a turboprop cargo plane, and there was also a training interception, we decided to reduce the flight speed 😄, at a speed of 410 km/h, FL 230 fighters fell away from our plane!😊 Cool content ,thanks 👍

I said that fighter jets can go at least Mach 1 at sea level, which would be half the top speed for most fighters(that's about Mach 2 if you can't understand). The design requirements to achieve this speed, to allow for manouevrability up to 9 Gs and to carry weapons weighing up to a ton or more under the wings generally require a higher stall speed and cruising speed than the crap you are flying, because those fighters are designed to go 3 times faster than that speed. They weren't made to escort aircraft that fly at speeds slightly higher than their take-off speeds:) Hopefully you are able to understand why the minimum speed of (some) fighters is higher than the crusing speed of some snails...

I find this pretty fairly believable, the wing overlaps the fighter jets when the fighters are behind the commercial airliner and when the closest fighter jet flies under the commercial airliners left wing a shadow is cast over it. To my knowledge, not any old Joe can put a video like this together.
I just had to question, it seemed so unrealistic but sounds like ya'll have the experience, but the coloring of those jets looks so computerized.

This is rendered game footage. Look at the spinning mark in the passenger planes engine, the condensation on the window, the fighters are not holding a steady altitude and the most obvious give away; the shadows. Real shadows would be darker and wouldn't have aliasing (shadows are jagged)

Simulation graphics are very high fidelity now, seems to have fooled most people here
