- WOW WOW WOW! What a day! just a quick afternoon visit to my local detecting permission and I think I have finally found a good spot on the massive field to metal detect on. It just kept on getting better and better, I cannot wait to get back out there again so keep an eye out for the next one!

You honestly don't need to change a thing. The clicker idea is interesting and a great way to show just how hard you have to work to get the good stuff, but you have your own style and it's so relaxing to watch your channel. Every detectorist has their own style. Don't spoil yours just be yourself and do it your way. You get great finds and you keep it real that's enough for most of us. Keep up the good work.

Oh wow, that Trajan coin was beautiful! Got to admit, for me, that little button stole the show; such an unusual shape. I love your videos just as they are tbh.
I do like a nice button I must say, I think they are underrated by most detectorists and don't get a second look but I like to include them ☺️

Many detector channels have said that they have dug so many holes and found nothing, so I don’t know what people are going on about. We know how hard you guys work on finding just one good thing. Well, you dug a lot of holes with junk, but boy did it pay off. Your videos just leave me floored! I can't believe that hammered and the Trajan. Unbelievable! I'd love to see your collection sometime if you'd care to share how you have your top items displayed.
I can't quite believe my luck recently, this field is just rammed with history and I feel very lucky to be able to find it, I am going back today to hopefully find a few more nice bits 😊👍

Totally amazing find Ed! Well done! The clicker thing is a nice addition but I wouldn't go changing too much of what you already do. I think even us non-detectorists know you would be digging a lot of junk holes and just film the interesting finds

Hi mate, what a brilliant idea using the clicker to remember how many holes. Lucky number 32 - hammered!! Crikey silver Roman absolute dream find and stunning condition, toning on it really beautiful. 86 holes thats very good going and worth the amazing treasures you found.
Can I ask to do a sequal to this video, which would entail you posting me the exact same clicker, I do a video like this and give your channel a huge plug, then I post the clicker back to you? Thoughts?
Thanks mate, I think I forgot to count a fair few to be honest, another thing to remember to do 😂 it was a cracking afternoon, that field just keeps on giving!
Of course, why not, it was actually quite interesting to see how many holes are actually dug as usually it just all blends in to one, it would probably be cheaper to buy one than send this one there and back, it was about £4.50 from amazon so not a lot. A plug would be awesome, I was planning to do some shouts to channels this year, I think addicted to bleeps did something like that a while back and yours was top of my list 😂 Good luck when you are next out but I see you have been hoovering up those silvers 😂👍
@@VintageParagonUk hi mate, ahhh yeah OK I'll try to buy the exact one, it was honestly a brilliant idea. I've only had 4 silvers this year, but the last 2 have been hammered and early milled gold. And I don't know if you know already, but yesterday I found an early milled gold coin on a new permission!! Flippin George III half Guinea! I'm still on cloud 9 !!
