July 8th or did you mean January 8th?
January lol
@@SouthGeorgiahotshot I was about to say. I know your videos shouldn't be that far behind 🤣🤣🤣
First thing I said! 😂
I figured that. We’ve been watching long enough to speak Robert
Wish you were around Oklahoma...have multiple pickups paying over 2.20 per...not just one way but turnaround...7k worth of work..2 @ a time..
Robert in my opinion that pick up was disorganized and chaotic they had no idea what they were doing and didn't have things set up so it would be simple instead it was a scavenger hunt which is crazy.
I wish more drivers would do what you guys are doing that would help the industry because taking low ball runs they are cutting there own throats and I will never understand that
These brokers are ruining the industry. Bunch of thieves. They need to be regulated and capped at earning like 10-15% max on a load and it needs to be disclosed what the load pays before they take theyre cut.
Hang in there Robert and Lita trucking got to turn around keep videos coming information about loading and secure t helps
$1.17 per mile? 😂 that is hilarious, are they crazy? I was in freight back in 1985 and if I accepted freight for my owner operators less than $1.50 it was very had to get them to deliver it, and this was in 1985 when fuel was less than $1 per gal.
Real question…you think it’s because of all these foreigner drivers? I’m referring to the cheap rates.
Honest question no disrespect but after the 2nd day why wouldn’t you reach out to a dispatcher and say hey show me what you got if this week goes well I’ll come aboard and use you all from here?
The bureaucracy of each port is total Bull 💩 it should be standardized!
Coolant maybe going into the EGR
Know your worth !!
I use to have the same problem hauling cars out of the ports someone couldn't find a car so would just jump in a car and drive around tell they found the one they they needed and leave the one they used in that spot then you spent hours looking for it, be safe love your videos
next time one of the dogs is dropping a deuce, make a "thanks for watching" ending out of it
Robert Robert Robert, awesome, the next time you come to Brunswick please let me know as I live here and look forward to getting to meet you.
Again thanks
Man I am glad the winter of 2024 blew by so fast! Since this is now in the summer. Because in West Texas it has been brutally cold the 2 nd week in January! 🤣🛫. Just yanking your chain. Brokers are corrupt!
Im sure this would never happen...but what if your drop off has no ramps to back up to? You got your ramps under the first tractor, can you get them out from under it in case you need them? Just something to think about, I think if you put a linger wheelbase tractor up front, you could remove the ramps. Nice video, my wife comes with me in the truck as well, we pull RGN double drop, lots on military and port loads, I feel your pai. Haha. Avoid Baltimore port if possible haha
You could probably get more Views with Shorter Vids....Im not watching 40mim....Happy Trail
That dude took y'all on a wild goose chase while someone else planted the tractor. Kinda funny really...
Robert, with a Cummins ISX when you can't figure out where the coolant is going it is usually a cracked EGR cooler. They will crack internally so it leaks coolant into the exhaust that is being recirculated back to the engine.
The best thing I have heard so far is that criminals are running. How you get paid. Straight from Congress's.
When I drove as a Owner operator it was always paying a minimum of 5 bucks or better. So we can get loaded. SHIPPING YARDS. CONTAINER S. That's bullshit need to get paid
I'm glad I haven't bought a trailer yet... I'm getting around $2 per mile after they get their 30%. Not bad compared to what you were looking at, especially seeing how I'm using their trailers. AND I'm staying busy! I can book 3 loads in about an hour to start a trip, then add loads as my HOS works out.
Nothing like picking up imported tractors with that company headquarters located in Moline,Illinois. Only american that made money building them was the CEO and stockholders.
Fastest way is one of the golf carts. That is a MURDER of crows. Drop that 155 off at my place. The others would be fine as well. You should get a bracket to hook your E-bike thru 3pt hitch. Drive, hook on tractor, drive, unhook bike ride for #2, & 3
John Deere’s MADE IN GERMANY! That’s disgraceful.
Depressed? This will really put you over…John Deere. the quintessential American tractor makes most, if not all, of their smaller lines in CHINA. For years. I would have thought that the ones that you picked up would have been included so it would be very sad if those are also chinesium. Wasn’t there a sticker somewhere for origin country? Interesting…all very sad, but interesting.
John Deer is no longer 100% American made. Pretty much their largest machines are still American made while the smaller units are imported..
Also, I think this past summer they moved cab manufacturing down to Mexico and then imported them into the states to be built.
Your intro confused the hell out of me like july.. holdup it's January.. 😂😂
Moline, Illinos and Davenport, Ia has JD building factories!!!
U might as well go to Mc'ds for 14 dollars per hour..... U would make more and no trk or ins or ETC ETC payments.
Build back Better.
I hauled thos JD tractors out of Port in Galveston, Tx and they would first give you a pickup invoice with Vin numbers, then you had to walk all overs hells creation and find them, then wait forever for a dock to back into for loading them, then wait for them to be verified, then finally go and wait some more for the paperwork. It was a joke. The best part were all the good dealers that you dealt with. Sorry to hear you are having it tough. The cattle hauling business is pretty good so far. Bill
Yet another great video!!! Keep 'em coming!!! One suggestion if you are running low on material would be to come up with a 2023 Year in Review video, where you hit the high points and low points of 2023. Compare 2023 income with 2022 income (better/worse; no numbers, etc.) All I know is that I have been watching you since the beginning and even in these really bad times, you are so much happier traveling with Lita than when you were hot-shoting alone. Keep your heads up; things have got to get better before long. At least fuel prices have come down recently. Gasoline is now under $4.00/gallon in the state of Washington. We have got to figure out a way to get all of these commies out of our state and federal governments!!!
I hear you on the cheap freight. I’m deadheading 288 miles to get a good load. Southwire load from villa rica GA to Cincinnati. Deadheading from the Florida panhandle.
This system needs to be updated. There is no organization to this way of doing things. Special rows clearly marked with product Big numbers attached to the correct item.
Should select the od portion also.. and don't put in weight I've noticed alot of loads say 48,000 but I'm the description it's less then that
Sorry for the spelling I’m doing this on my phone. Another thing those people are supposed to drive those vehicles to the ramp so you can load them how many truck drivers there show up and don’t know how to drive those things plus if you crash one damage it who pays certainly not you since you’re not an employee of that place Lori responsible for that equipment until it’s loaded on your trailer. It’s one screwed up place. Man I hope freight business picks up for you so you can stay out of those fucked up places good luck bro.
Hello Lolita!
The John Deere tractor series M are made in Mannheim, Germany !!!
Wow, looking at that Truckstop board gave me anxiety! Retired 2 years ago - was always on that board.... numbers look the same.. Keep rollin!
JD tractors are made in the US and Germany.. you probably picked up german made models
Not gonna get any better ... .sold my truck 7 years ago. . Hope it's not head gasket...fuck the ports. .
Stay focused & do not take crap loads. The economy will weed out the idiot drivers. They are going bankrupt. These idiots are one breakdown or wreck away from being in the poor house.
STAY TRUE & ONLY TAKE LOADS THAT MAKE YOU GUYS MONEY.
Hey bro what a screwed up load out was that. OK not sure where to start but unless something drastically changed at the sports something is wrong. You were supposed to be escorted everywhere you go buy one of those employees, in other words those lazy bastards we’re supposed to be toting you around in one of those carts that’s what the carts are for, lol unless it’s changed is they don’t want people wandering around aimlessly in the port area, Therefore all visitors are to be escorted to the work location by the port employee. If you go back make them take you in the cart to where the Quitman is and if they won’t report them to their supervisor you can actually get in trouble for wandering around in the wrong place at the wrong time just thought you might wanna know that that’s according to the Marsic federal rules and regulations.
A diesel losing coolant and not leaking on the ground or showing up in the Oil is going threw the Head Gasket or the EGR and out the Exhaust and you will never see it!! Ouch.
Ive picked up some tractor there at that place, nobody knew shit, went everwhere till i found them!!!
Hey guys does anyone know if Danny from Covered 6 hung it up with trucking?
Pretty sure the cutoff is 60hp everything less than 60 is made overseas & everything over 60 is made here
Put a new radiator cap on it,,, the rubber seal may look fine but the water in the coolant steams out slowly, so slow you cant see it but may get a real slight whiff of it once in a while,,, a cap is cheap and worth a try ... or don't ......
Think you have the same set up as me, I’ve had to replace 2 coolant reservoirs and then I found where my coolant meets above my passenger fuel tank there is a 3 way right there that gives issues a lot
I'm assuming you guys offer your highest price to pull a load, so does it make sense that they're probably offering their lowest rate to start, and then you negotiate? or are they not willing to negotiate?
Damm, I would not have been able too walk all that much. Glad you were able too find them and get to running. You guys take care out there and keep those wheels turning. Prayers ❤.
i would tell them 2 go blank thereself r give u a dff piece
July 8th !!!! Better get in your DeLorean and set the date for JANUARY 8th 2024
It is winter, and winter always sucks, Robert then we have the Biden effect, which is killing the industry. Freightwave is all over the board on what is going to happen for flatbeds. I'm parked, but I am in the Pacific Northwest will wait till March and hope things go well. Super trucker Dan youtube hauls bombardia snowmobiles boats and so on out of El Paso
Just the big framed tractors are made in Waterloo Iowa. All others are overseas . I farm….
Why could they not give you a ride
My t680 says low coolant every time I go around a clover leaf
I’m a poet and don’t know it but if you can’t make a buck it’s not worth a well you know the rest of the story 👍 Be safe
Second
July?
Who needs a gym membership when you have a twic card
Well damn, at least you guys got your exercise for the week.
Too many vehicles, not enough work.
Former Container hauler here, every port has it's own Port Pass. If you are an over the road trucker that comes in once or twice a year, you get a day pass, if you go in every week, you have to have their Port of Savannah pass. This port pass gives you access to certain areas of the Port for loading that's not close to the water. Once you are loading a shipping container close to the water, you need a TWIC pass that's goes through a federal back ground. The reason is to make sure you are not picking someone from the ship to enter this Country illegally. When you exit that berth, you go through homeland security X rays to make sure the same amount of people are in the truck just like the way the front guard ask how many people other than Robert are in the truck.
If I wanted to pick up someone illegally in this country, I would head to TX.
@@donkeykong4181 Or Mexifornia
@@donkeykong4181 Obviously you never been inside a port.
i dont blame u at all/stay home, if u can, until it chg
4th
On the tractors the first number is frame size, the other numbers are horse power
I use both Truckstop and DAT but I find there are more step loads on DAT for sure
We canceled our dat because all we seen on there was tql and we won’t haul for them
Foreign contamination eliminating process.😊
they wouldn't let you use your E bike to go around?
Why do you worry about loads that you won't take?
I looked on Google and found out the JD 6110M tractors are made in Mannheim, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany.
July 8th I think you ment January 8th
Hi Guys hope things get better with the Rates, John Deere coming from over sears?? China maybe?? I think Deere has some plants in Germany! Stay safe and God Bless Y'all.
2 👍👍up y’all y’all stay safe out there 🐩🐕
In regards to you're low coolant alarm. I drove a T880 for a while that would do that every morning when I fired it up. It would stop after it got warmed up and the company mechanics said it was a known issue, just check the level and run it. that truck had over 17,000 hours on the motor when I had it and done it for years.
I almost clicked off😂
6 and 7000 series John Deere built in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Better try a different load board
July 8th ?
Hey I just saw you come through Murray KY yesterday morning. Watch out for the slick spots.
I don't get it. I heard you had to make at least $3.00 a mile. ? I guess if you have truck payments. How do these guys make it getting paid $1.00 a mile?
Coolant, EGR cooler?
Those tractors are made in John Deere's Mannheim Germany factory they've made over 2 million tractors. You guys hang in there things will get better.
That's creepy, they expect you to work for free, or even you guys pay to work? Bunch of vampires 😮
I sure miss those mean tweets
Just googled where John deer are made. Says there is a factory in Augusta Georgia Iowa and Tennessee. Are you from Augusta?
look along the frame for the mfg tag .probably built by yanmar in Japan unless they've gone to china like every one else. But hey it's green.
Sounded like to
me the people in
that office didn't
have a clue where
that tractor was
and sent you'll on
a wild goose chase.
So unorganized.
Lease on to a company???
Hi Lita and Robert. If you can, try to use the keypad on your keyboard for the calculator, it may work better than using the mouse. Do the folks at the ports think someone will load something and leave without having the load checked? Have better days!
Wassup
Random comment, also if your running out of content does this mean I’m finally going to get a PB&J tutorial in the Walmart parking lot?
De-regulation of the trucking industry is one of the reasons for the low rates and the oversupply of truck operators.
Good luck
I bet he wish he had his bike
Why didnt you use your drone to find them? Isnt it fun? Not to mention burning up all those precious hours available.
Is truckstop the only load board that you can use? Need to find a better one. Of course she knows the money amount😊😊😊
You need a cheap bicycle, alot of truckers and every dock workers usually has one😊😊😊😊
What is your monthly needed income to pay for the truck and insurance and other items if the truck s parked. Love your videos and commenting
Robert, your JCB neighbor knew what he was doing(training his new hire).. lol
John Deere tractors are also made in China and in the USA there like most manufacturers making things overseas
it's enough the loads don't pay shit but you got to find them and load them, socks I feel for you 👍🍺good luck
Hello
