Have you seen any of the amazing pieces of footage from the 70's? MJ did plenty of "club-esque" dancing, and of many different styles. He was fast and graceful and on an entirely different level than MC Hammer. I'm astonished people are *seriously* comparing them, I thought ya'll were pulling my leg. MJ can't be defeated by anyone for his perfection in each thing he did, but Hammer though is a very good (and cool) dancer with boogaloo, popping and locking he's more generic, freestyler and far less complete, hence can't compete with Michael who's also a choreographer and basically dances every genre, other that this own one. We're talking about dance here, it's obvious that MJ is a singer (and a great one too), while Hammer is not, a rapper raps, doesn't sing (usually).
Michael is like water in a vacuum, but Hammer is like a hurricane all over the place.

realize now that hammer choreographed his on dances,, Michael had choreographers to create what he did on camera, now they were both blessed buy god with the ability to dance but only one could create his dance moves and that was Hammer now choose who you feel but that fact had to be thrown at you first

michael is so much better. mc wasnt even popular 4 tht long. michael has been in show buisness since he was 5 (he may of not been famous at tht age but thts when his dad had him start reheasin) i respect mc n think hes a good dancer but mj is original. alotta the moves mc does r identical 2 michael. TEAM MICHAEL!
