    Thanks for sharing this review about the YETI rambler and comparison to the Stanley.
    I got my YETI today in the colour Seafoam and I love it to drink my tea out of it😊

    For those of legal age... The seal also keeps beer not only cold but fizzy. Great review!

      I own this exact cup but when I put ice in it and fill with water it almost creates a vacuum because when I want to drink out of it the water come out so slow and I mean very slow. Does anyone have the same issue

    I received a Yeti Rambler 30 oz Travel Mug with the Stronghold Lid for Christmas. I'm the guy who reads the instructions.
    They say to disassemble including the lid and wash (preferable in dishwasher) before using. That is what I did. After i reassembled everything I couldn't get the lid back on. I went back and reread the instructions and decided I must have put the large gasket on wrong. The instructions were not real clear so I went to UA-cam. I watched several reviews trying to figure out how to put the gasket on correctly. It is possible to put it on a few different ways, but apparently only one correct way. After watching this review I believe I have it on correct. YEA! In my opinion, all the reviews including this one should put more emphasis with more details on how to put the gasket on correctly. After I got in on I put water in it and turned it over and it leaked. After taking the lid off and putting it back on a couple of times and making sure it was on tight it did not leak. I am happy with it now, but as someone else mentioned I would not put it in a backpack with a laptop or anything else I would not want to get wet.
    Question: Does anyone know why they say in the CAUTION in the cleaning instructions "Not for use with carbonated beverages"? None of the reviews mentioned anything about carbonated beverages.
    🙂👍

      I think it’s because fizzy drinks build up pressure with the lid on.

      I think because carbonated beverage might pop when you open lid? I just got a Brumate and it says safe for carbonated beverages.

    Thank you for your review.. I’m a stainless steel tumbler and water bottle junkie. I have yeti, hydro flask, Stanley, tea infusers, bruMate and Amazon tumblers. I have a whole cabinet full of them not just one shelf two shelves packed with these beautiful tumblers and insulated water bottles..

      Do you have this yeti? I’m debating between this rambler with handle or the 30oz Stanley quencher 2.0. Would love your opinion

      @@honeyyeyes I have the Stanley iceflow with the handle 30oz. It's very sturdy. I find the yeti, hydro flask and Stanley are about the same. They are all good quality. It only depends on the brand you want.

    I have this, and I love it! It doesn’t leak, my ice water stays ice, cold forever, and my hot coffee stays hot for hours! This is the stainable option if you were looking for one and done!

    Thanks for the review. I also appreciate my Yeti 30 for all the reasons you discuss. Just the right size. I call mine 'Traveler' because it goes when I go out. People associate me with the cup. Mine has taken a header off my truck roof. I gathered the components up, screwed and clicked it together...good as before. Easy to clean well by hand or dishwasher. I just wish the drink spout was double click to open the spout bigger so I can get more upon desire. It is a buy once and use often purchase thing and I don't need to buy two. Also easy to fill from drink dispensers.

    I have the bigger mug and only use it at home but it’s a fact of how hot it keeps the coffee!!! I need to get a slim bottom for travel and I’ll be set!!! The only thing is keeping the gasket clean that’s definitely a must on them!!! YETI for the win!!!!!!

    Love that the lid screws on and is not just pushed down. Had a lid on a Yeti come off and spilled the whole thing in my lap. But, you need to know which side you want the opening in the lid to be on. If you use the handle, the opening has to be facing you and can end up on the other side.

    I’ve got the tumbler in yeti without a handle . Love!!!
    The big Yeti in cute pink is sooo heavy I can barely carry it. Honestly . I opted for a Brumate 35 oz flip lid. Spill proof and much lighter

    I agree with everything you have said about this Yeti. The only thing that I don't like is the screw on lid. It hurts my wrist to align the lid. Other than this complaint, this cup is perfection!

  • @goldtrident
    @goldtrident 2 роки тому +13

    Problem with this size is that it's heavy empty, then you fill it up and it's just ridiculous. 20oz is the right one

    Love this top, thanks for sharing it with me! I might have to grab this for coffee for long road trips or my water! I love my Simply Modern water bottle but I can’t keep it in my cup holder but it’s perfect for my bag but this would be great for running around in the car! Or toss it in my bag if I need! So cool! Again, thank you so much for sharing!!! ❤
    I think I’m going to get this for my husband, I got a Stanley dupe but it’s way too big for his cup holder in his car and even though it’s better than the Stanley and doesn’t leak, he can’t take it in the car without it falling 🙄 and since he drives an hour and a half to work he needs something to fit. The yeti looks like it would actually fit! He has tiny cup holders.

    I'd be interested to see a leak test (hold the full mug upside down with the lid on), I heard that Yeti mugs don't actually have a leak-proof top so i'd like to verify that before buying.

    Thanks for the review! I just bought mine and I found out that mine leaks, even with a strong hold lid. It’s not just a few small drops either it’s a good amount of leak and I’m a little disappointed because that’s what I was most excited for. Do you know why it may be leaking or have you heard of this happening? I’m wondering if I have a faulty strong hold lid. It would be strange if I did but could be possible. Thanks again!

    Yeti all day! I wish they had not discontinued the Nordic purple! YETI Customer Service is a lot better than STANLEY Customer Service. I’ve been reading reviews where STANLEY doesn’t even honour WARRANTY when peoples cups are chipped when they receive them. Yeti for me all day

    Is the yeti leak proof? Does it leak in bags or turned upside down?

    • @JadeGeminiM390
      @JadeGeminiM390  Рік тому

      Check out this short I made. I would say it can be. However whenever you first screw on the lid, the residual liquid on the seal can cause the liquid to mildly leak until all the liquid on the seal is drained. I would say I would still be somewhat weary of using the yeti in a backpack, if you will have a expensive laptop or tablet, I would go for a hydroflash or yeti bottle instead.

    I have a travel yeti like your but fill it with any liquid with ice and try drinking. Let me know if the liquid pours out as it should. Thanks

    • @JadeGeminiM390
      @JadeGeminiM390  Рік тому +1

      It does. What I have found is that if condensation gets into the mag lock valve, it can slow the pour. You can fix this by either sucking while drinking or you cant the lid to one side which breaks that seal and water will come out faster.

    My husband put his magnets ion wrong and now we can’t get it off. How can we get it off without braking it? I’m think a pair of pliers and pinch it? I don’t know if it will brake though?

    • @JadeGeminiM390
      @JadeGeminiM390  Рік тому +2

      If you press down on the sip area it should lever up the other end and you can take a fingernail and pry it off.

    Sorry, but you forgot to say that the bottom shape is like that (smaller round) so that it will fit in the built-in cup holder of most cars, but it’s expanded on top so it can hold more liquid which we like for travel mugs or else it defeats the purpose of carrying it around outside our homes. I read that in one review and I thought it’s something good to know! Thanks.
