If you offered a weekend class on how to make the spinning tables, how to make the templates, how to modify the templates to make it your own, and lastly how to construct the bowls or fountain, then I would be there in a heartbeat! Learning from you in person would be of value to me. I am not good with tools or equipment, but watching your videos really empowers me and makes me think I could do this! I am just a little nervous and like a bit of hand holding at the start of new projects.
I found it hard to start making the template. But after a while i just drew half the bowl's profile on paper. Added grooves/embelishments. Then traced it onto the final template. Start by measuring how wide/deep you want it. Then just draw away!
OMGosh you are a genius! Making your own tools to create this beautiful fountain. Not to mention the creativity and engineering to bring it all together. Excellent job!
I wish I was your neighbor. I’d do all your yard work for an entire year if you taught me in person and made sure I didn’t mess it up. Absolutely gorgeous! You’re gifted with natural talent that many wish they had.
I think the height of the fountain is perfect. A tall fountain is wonderful because you can place any plant around the base and still be able to see the beauty of the fountain. Now all you need is to place some of your matching planters filled with plants around the base. So many options. Love this! TFS & have a great weekend!
If he wanted to lower the fountain all he would have to do is take it apart and dig down 6 to 10" below the base plate - then reassemble and like you said plant his flowers - he is amazing with such wonderful ideas!
You are a legend. When I get a yard, I'm going to make your pots and this bird bath. Wow. I am always nagging my Dad and my brother-in-law: Please wear hearing protection when using power tools like the one you're using in this video. Tinnitus is irreversible. WHATTT?!?!
My husband just got his hearing tested. After years of working in construction and shooting guns (hunting) he’s lost part of his hearing. He now has to wear hearing aids. The scary part, as the trchnician explained, all the words you cannot hear, they are eventually “erased” from your brain. She said hearing loss plays a big part in dementia.
I've watched your video a number of times. Right now in Michigan it's a week from Christmas, but now I have an idea of how to build a beautiful birdbath. Your structure is beautiful.
That is awesome and I am totally going to make this rather than pay $2500 for exactly the same thing at the garden centre 😎 Thanks from a fellow cheap person lol.
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing this. Not only does it look like a project I can have a go at, but also how you manage to work with so much messy stuff without making a big mess. Wonderful.
Well done! So inspiring! I especially like the hand feature on top. I agree with you about shortening the bottom stand (by half, i think). It would give it a more balanced look. I marvelled at your forethought when designing the indentations with the blue tubing etc..
You’ve outdone yourself! 👏🏻👏🏻 All your creations are stunning with great craftsmanship! I’m looking forward to new content!! I love your work, Sony!! Brilliant!!
You are just amazing! I wish more men were like you. What gifts and talents you have! I really enjoyed watching you and how you paid attention to detail so everything is perfect.
Absolutely brilliant instructional video. Your fountain is a masterpiece of design, art, ingenuity and hard work. You should be very proud. It is the best UA-cam Bird Bath Fountain video I have seen.
I wish you could see the castle someone made in their front yard here in Castle Rock, Colorado. The 4 turrets on the corners were made with the concrete post forms, it's incredible.
Genius! You are a very smart man. I'll bet your wife is happy. You've saved a lot of money and have quality landscaping products that make your already beautiful home even nicer.
i love this. i priced few years back, fountains 5-6ft in height, and they can run $3000-$5000. depending where. DIY projects i just love. thank you so much. i believe in making your own piece of beauty around you, threw creating. much love and god,s peace be with you.
Impressive and a beautiful birdbath fountain! LOVE! I think I might practice on a mini version of it before I tackle a big project like this. I like that you used perlite to make it lighter - I'm an old lady so it matters how heavy it is. Thank you - I think your spinning table and pattern tool is ingenious - makes for a great looking bowl. All your tricks and trap doors add up to one UNIQUE fountain. Thx!:)
How beautiful! You're so talented and give me inspiration to make my own birdbath. I bet your neighbors give you loads of compliments. Such a lovely yard
Thank you so very much. I see these pots all the time and they charge like $500-600 or more in chic NYC shops $1000+. And I know the cost of cement and if you have patience and strength or some friends to help...So much cheaper. And you do it yourself. Great job. For those wanting supplies - go to your local concrete mortar type shop...they may have the molds and you can skip the sand bit.
Sencillamente espectacular éste proyecto. Me encantó. Quedó muy bonito y como adorna un espacio, especialmente área de jardines. Lo felicito. Mucha creatividad. Saludos desde Colombia Sur América.
AMAZING!!! You are a talented artist, and have a beautiful front and back yard. This fountain makes your front yard look even more beautiful. You are the man!!!!!
Sir all I can say is wow you have put in the hard labor and the fruit of your labor speaks for itself as well as your skill level. You look very patient with what you do. God has given you the resources and you have made something beautiful. May God continue to bless the work of your hands. Jesus loves you and I enjoyed the video. Can't wait to see more Fountain Creations in the future.
Labor intensive but oh so worth it. The hands are outstanding! This is why they costs thousands and good to know it can be done DIY with a little bit of creativity!
Great work! Your videos sucked me in. Great detail coverage and editing. I'm inspired to do some similar decorative concrete projects after watching your work. Thanks!
Very nice. I would suggest mixing some concrete and putting it under your base plate. Easy to level by tapping with a rubber mallet and it will increase the stability of your entire structure. Beyond that, make reusable moulds and go into business. It looks awesome.
Brilliant conception, Ingenious tools, simple accessories, mastery technique, years of knowledge and know-how, hard work, patience... All this... under our very eyes Thank you!! ♾ 🤩
Beautiful and creative. I actually like the height of it! Please don't cut it down. Sell it and make another one instead of cutting it! Love the little hidden slot that you made that is then covered back with a concrete 'cover.'
You are a true artist! I love watching your videos! You utilize things anyone else would just toss to make your beautiful projects! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
Very impressive. I would really love to try this, although I suspect you make it look easy. Lots of tips and ideas though I can put to good use. Thank you for a very useful video.
The taller profile makes it unique and makes me feel like it is more cosmopolitan , like when you see an Asian or European post office box . Very nice I would like to see you do another tall one without the fluted stand ( although that was very clever ) and a greenish cast . ( so please jump right on that , I mean it's it's only four weekends!) . You have inspired me to try this ( the planters , not the fountain) to save money and have a heavy clean look to my landscaping. Thank you for sharing your ingenuity and creativity, be well.
This is a beautiful fountain Sir. Nicely done. Building a fountain for my yard is in my future although, if I can find a solar power pump, I will use it. Thankyou for sharing and showing the due dillegence for a beautiful finished project!
Beautiful! I don’t think you need to cut it down, it’s quite a conversation piece. I would LOVE to make one of these but I may start out with a simple bird bath first. Thank you for sharing your creativity.
Thank you Carrie, If you want to start with a simple one, I would like to invite you to watch my other video for the smaller and simpler one: ua-cam.com/video/zZPL4FV84Hk/v-deo.html Thank you

Excellent request!!! I'm here for it, up for precisely what you outlined.
Just do it - worst case is you toss, break and bury $20 in material and try again. Maybe worse is you try to salvage ;-)
I found it hard to start making the template. But after a while i just drew half the bowl's profile on paper. Added grooves/embelishments. Then traced it onto the final template.
Start by measuring how wide/deep you want it. Then just draw away!
I second that
It's just a spinning bar stool with the seat off. Could probably liquid nail a cut round piece of fiberglass to the top
OMGosh you are a genius! Making your own tools to create this beautiful fountain. Not to mention the creativity and engineering to bring it all together. Excellent job!
Sony you are amazing. The fountain is awesome.
I wish I was your neighbor. I’d do all your yard work for an entire year if you taught me in person and made sure I didn’t mess it up. Absolutely gorgeous! You’re gifted with natural talent that many wish they had.
If I could like this a thousand times I would. You're the man.

Your neighbors must be in awe of your beautiful creations.
To complicated for me . I’m glad there’s people like yourself so very talented.
I've watched your video a number of times. Right now in Michigan it's a week from Christmas, but now I have an idea of how to build a beautiful birdbath. Your structure is beautiful.
I truely enjoy watching you work. I like the fact that it's just you working with no background music.
Wonderful.
