i started playing sims 3 again because of Chrill's videos, I wanted to see all the references he picked up on. I noticed a Better Call Saul sign in Bridgeport thanks to a post on reddit but that's about it because I'm too busy being a douche to my sims.
How do you do this?!?! I can't even imagine all the effort that goes into these. Chrill deserves more subs!

From Sims 2-Sims 4 there has always been a storyline 🤦🏻
Oh yeah, Sims 1-2 were pretty dark too. I used to get nightmares after playing them as a kid. 3-4 are much more subtle compared to the first two!

Interesting.. I knew they took inspiration from the sitcom ''the big bang theory'' with Penny and Raj.. but I would never thought they took inspiration from ''friends'' but it does make sense with the ''loud'' neighbours and the ''mysterious murder''.. something to think about!

Jina S actually they also took inspiration from New Girl for the household roomies. Per exemple the girl from the household is named Zoe Patel and the actress playing the main character in new girl is Zooey Deschannel

Hey i love your work you are really great and i got some ideas. There is the sims game called sim medieval. Its about creating a kingdom and its in the medieval times but its really important to the lore. Beacuse it shows that maybe the sims live in a kingdom in sims 1 2 3 4. In sims 2 if you sim is a policeman and one of those panels shows up (the panel where you can chose an option that can fire your sim or get lots of money) it says something about a king that lives in that time. can you make a video about this in the future?

I loved the Friends conspiracy theory
My sim had a text and she was invited to a play and when she came back i saw a text that said that the fashion street murder play was a true story
It's implied that Mr. Heckles dies because he was old and overworked himself trying to hit the ceiling with the broom to shut up the girls. That's the joke.
I can understand the connections to friends, that's pretty cool. But Mr. Heckles for sure wasn't murdered in Friends, the friends spend the rest of the episode making unfortunate jokes about how they 'killed' Mr. Heckles and feel guilty about it because they probably caused the heart attack or whatever else really killed him and he couldn't get help because he lived alone. Everyone else is only mentioning it as a funny callback to make the girls feel guiltier. I think it's a stretch to try and use that landlord logic here.
If the messages are meant to mean the landlord killed him, it's not at all Friends based, that's a new riff on the joke in the game only.
I thought he was using the broom to ask for help and the freinds didnt realize it until they heard about the broom in his hand maybe I should rewatch it lmao

I always thought Mr. Traegger said “we found a broom in his HEAD.” Clueing us in to the fact that he was hitting the ceiling with the broom and fell onto it, getting impaled. I’ve gone this whole time thinking Mr. Heckles died gruesomely and horribly lmao.
It's been 3 years but I still love this man's theories.
