Go there all the time with my TJ. A lot of those trails are very rough for any full size 4x4 vehicle. sxs and atvs are the ones that really shine there along with big tire trucks. I got 4 inch lift with m/t tires. Been stuck every single time I go. Even flipped once before.
when I first bought my jeep, my mechanic told me "i've driven 2wd all my life.. and I never pushed on a car until i got a 4x4" ... he meant that it's a car, not a tank 😂
Im in houston as well, never been there but i have been to creek side off road park. It looks alot like this place lots of sand and clay, going into one of them pits is something to avoid for sure its endless clay.

Between overheating and lack of oil pressure your Jeep will be dead in no time.
Never had oil pressure issue just turned out to be a bad gauge. Over heating well 👌 shell be alright.
