- What's the point of doing a garden tour without giving a shout out to all the people that contribute to my channel.
A big hello to the new channel members that I met at Costco today. I look forward to sharing my videos with you and answering any questions that you may have. Thanks so much to the cashier, bagger, shelf stockers (that gave me all the cardboard they were collecting) and customers for the pleasant conversations and making my cardboard shopping experience (Haha) so pleasant.
Costco is my absolute favorite store to shop at and I thank you for allowing me to come by from time to time and collect cardboard. It doesn't matter which staff I interact with (door greeter, parking lot/gas station/service shop attendant's, in store department staff, food court, supervisors, cashiers, baggers, and anyone else that I may have missed); you are all amazing. From this shopper/gardener/homesteader, I thank you for making each and every visit to Costco a pleasant and memorable experience for me. #costco

Hello, I’m your 37th Thumbs here watching all the Garden Saturday Shares. 1:11 Yeppers we have to pace ourselves. I hope you don’t climb a ladder without someone holding it. 2:08 Your Tomato plants have really Taken off. I never heard of Yeast Fertilizer before. I took this year off from Gardening, but I too have trimmed the bottom of my tomatoe plants. I love Cherry tomatoes the best!!! 5:09 We use cardboard for different things too. I go cardboard hunting for cardboard under my husbands 55 Chevy that leaks. He’s currently got the engine and all a part right now trying to fix all the leaks. 7:12 That’s a nice garden area. I grew my first Sunflowers last year. They’re very easy to grow. 7:56 God Bless you for sharing with others. I would like to do raised beds over the Big black containers I use. There is no one else here but me to hold a ladder but I use a lot of caution when doing things on my own. This year was my 1st time growing sunflowers from seed and they will be a staple in my garden beds from now on. Have a wonderful weekend ❤

Such a lovely time of year to see you all the vegetables, and perennials from your efforts this year, Krista. Reg from the channel GrowVeg did a video today on using cardboard in the garden. It's nothing you don't know, but it's always good to get a refresher. I hope that hurricane/tropical storm steers well clear of your location!

Wow awesome free card board omg free tubs I pay $5 each at Home Depot you truly got blessed. Take the spinach leaves and put it in your smoothie 😋 the tomatoes are d😅ing well thank God what a great share 🔥
I think these tubs are a bit smaller than the ones you have but for sure I was blessed to receive them and I will put them to good use around here. For now they are going to get a rock inside, lol, to weigh them down and I can collect rainwater for the garden 😁The 1st spinach harvest will just be as a side (slightly blanched, drained with butter, salt and pepper. my fav 😋). I'm an hour and a half drive to Duluth, Minnesota. I usually make a Sam's trip when I desperately need to! I can relate.

I’m new to your channel Krista💚. Hurricane Debby knocked down lots of limbs here for me too. I used them in my raised beds. Your tomatoes look great. What types of peppers are you growing? Free cardboard is a game changer. Great video 😊. Thank you for sharing and happy gardening 👨🏿🌾
Hello Moses and welcome to my channel. Lots of uses for downed tree limbs around the garden. The peppers I am growing are: Red and Yellow sweet peppers; Habanero, Ghost and Anaheim (also called Salsa from Jamaica). I'm trying to get the peppers to set fruit at the moment but the peppers and tomatoes are struggling right now with low evening temps. Thanks for much for watching and engaging in a conversation. Good afternoon Krista!! Looks like you have been busy cleaning up brush, sorry to hear about the injuries. They do make clean up a little bit harder. The tomatoes are looking beautiful. I have one baby tomato...lol Peppers look so healthy too. Oh my, I love Costco too and our Costco is an hour away, but we live in a rural town, so we are closer to stores. I've been saving all my cardboard from Amazon and I get it from Dollar General too (we now have three in our very small town). Your gardens are gorgeous. I love the flowers, especially the sunflowers.
Good afternoon. I had a chuckle because I saw in my feed that you did a dollar tree haul (which I will be watching) and I did a Costco one, lol. The injuries that I have reoccur if I overuse or overdue jobs, so I most likely will mention them from time to time. I've learned that I have to pace myself because of injuries from a car accident/physical stuff 🙂Thanks so much for your compliments on the garden. What are you planning with all that cardboard that your saving up? 🤔😙
I am in the process of putting in five new garden beds, which won't be complete until next year. I have to get Cinder Block to finish them
