    Think I'll get one of these lites for my predator. I can't think of a reason not to go this route. I see you are using a 6ft cord. Judging by the size if that tree, if it were a bit bigger you wouldn't have much extra to wrap around abd hang on to. 8ft maybe the way to go

    • @platinumpursuitoutdoors
      @platinumpursuitoutdoors  2 роки тому +1

      If you get the 8’ and it’s too much you can always cut it. With an 8 foot cord you are able to double wrap a slightly larger trees. That is a benefit. However, most of the trees that I Climb a 6 foot USA would work fine.

      I bought the six foot. Felt I needed a little more length and just bought the 8 foot. The 1/8 amsteel gives a nice tight stretch we can't get on the bigger diameter amsteel. Love this new USA Light set up! That's my two cents.

    at 1:34 you said it will be able to be used with one hand while you demonstrated using two and even still pushed the platform against with body. I get it that it's lighter and better than the typical straps that come with most platforms. but why say it can be done with one hand without demonstrating it?

    • @platinumpursuitoutdoors
      @platinumpursuitoutdoors  10 місяців тому

      Hey, thanks for the question. I could have said that in a different way. When I said work it with one hand, what I’m referring to is how the tender enables you to use your right hand and tighten the USA to the tree. It was highlighting the tender, which was not available on the original models. Hope that makes sense.
