As a first time chicken owner myself, I thoroughly enjoyed this video.
@@andiincali.4663 I’m glad ☺️ congrats on new chickens!
We love our Rocks. They do tend to get into everything. They will dig up lots of things, get into areas you don't want them and poop where you don't want them to. We love all the eggs and their hardiness! Cheers from Minnesota!
Cheers!
Just got my baby chicks (Barred Plymouth Rock) today! I love the video. Gives me an idea of how my girls should look at each stage
Congrats on your baby chics!
@@PureLady They slept A Lot! Dangled a worm and they went nuts!!! Yup I'm gonna love this! I love all animals but birds and cats are special to me The chicks all look super healthy and content
So cute! I loved how you made them a little dirt bath♥️♥️♥️
I miss when my chickens were babies
Thanks for the timeline! Cute rocks and music fits them!
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you

Adorable video cute as heck lol
Wow so fast...I can't believe the sudden growth between 4-6week
They grow fast.
Cute!
Gorgeous birds
Thank you
5 yes ago when I saw a dust bath for the first time I freaked out thinking I was witnessing a seizure...
Lol
😆
Great video
Thank you
Awesome video
Thank you!
Cute as hell with the puppies... I have 4 newbies now, 1 week old , Two Brown Leghorns and two Silver Lace Wyandottes, skittish, but fun! How old when you moved them to backyard?
Oh wow congrats on your chics. My mom moved her chics out fast. I moved mine out at 4 weeks into the coop and then I let the chics venture out into the run at about 5-6 weeks
which one was skittish? i have 5 months golden lace Wyandotte, always been skittish, but the older it gets the less skittish! i have 2 barred rocks 4 weeks old, they are friendly so far.
When did you move them into an outside coop?
Maybe about a month, after coop was built
How many weeks were they when they started to lay?
I want to say at least a year before start laying regularly
I got a bered rock chick that mite be a rooster half the size of my rode island red.
Yes, might be a rooster .
almost all of them have that rooster white spot on their heads?? how many turned out to be?
Sadly, they were all eaten by a dog shortly after this video. Never figured out which ones were rooster.
@@PureLady hopefully not one of your little puppies; I just lost an old bird to a neighbors (usually) very well behaved dog, who chased a deer, couldn't catch it, and then went for the old chicken, nesting near the edge wall of the coop. It was over in seconds. He pulled the bird right through the opening in the wall, 3.5 inches. fortunately the bird was basically "retired" but I'm now "back to the drawing board" on design.
@@thedwightguy Oh no! It was my moms, she let her chickens and puppies play together and eventually they begin eating the chickens one by one. She took too long to keep dog and chickens separated.. I still have all of my chickens thankfully.
@@PureLady usually animals are quite sentient about other animals they're raised with; my barn cat would kill just about anything but he also knew that the juciy, six lb. chickens were off limits. mom should have spent some quality time with the puppies and they SHOULD have connected that the chickens were "family". that's actually strange behaviour.
@@thedwightguy She was a first time chicken owner. It discouraged her from raising chickens.
🥰🥰🥰 I just got some! You can see on my page if you want. I luv them lol 🐥🐥
This is where you need to pay attention to the spot on its head.
Hen or rooster.
I learned that rooster has red on head
All I know I ended up with three roosters. They are so pretty and huge. They now have new homes.
But the spot on the head means something.
Very nice check contact Pakistan
I need fertile eggs
Hi, can you tell the difference in too and the pellets when they are 1 week old?
Roo auto correct not too
Hello! Check for larger, more prominent combs and wattles, as well as more upright and pointed feathers on the neck and saddle area. However, it's not foolproof, and sometimes only time will reveal their true gender. 🐔#FeatheredFriends
LMAO WOW YOU REALLY HAVE TO TRAIN THOSE PUPPYS BECAUSE THOSE ARE HUNTING BIRD DOGS BREED
Hi, Do you sell Day old chicks?
I don’t
Is all the bird male chicken?
The information is need for my studies please reply (according to genetics all should be cock)
Those are my moms chickens, I can’t remember if she had any males. My other chicken videos, are my chickens. Only 1 male. The one with red on top of head.
