thanks for the info on the brake bleed procedure. One concern...I didn't hear in the video if you put new brake pads on. If you didn't, its possible you still have that front reservoir overfilled. Next time you go to replace front brake pads and compress the brake cylinders in, you may find there is too much fluid. Just a bit of feedback. great video with good details though. It wasn't overfilled, but that's sharing. BTW, I'm also considering a seat upgrade. Stock is extremely hard. A lot of people recommend Ultimate seats. What are you gonna get?

We purchased ours last month. 06 VTX 180C2 i do have 1 question regarding the sissy bar . where did you buy the arm rest for that type of sissy bar. those your flip back to be able to sit on? if you could share any or all info on it . We've been trying to find 1 and that one seems like it might work. I thank you in advance.
Good deal, thanks especially for the bedding explanation, beautiful bike! Dumb question. I pulled all my pads at the same time the other day to see how much life I had on them. and like an idiot squeezed the rear brake pedal after I put the rear ones back but before I put the front ones back on. Now the center pistons that run off the rear braking on the front are pushed out. I have one caliper off but still connected, and even with the rear reservoir uncapped, I cant get the piston to slide back in, tried vice grips and a C clamp already. I need to bleed them anyways, think this will free the pistons back up when I crack the bleeders on them? i feel like they should already back off with the reservoir open. but I think I remember reading about a proportioning valve also being part of the system before....
Hi Gene. I would try to compress the center cylinders for both front calipers while bleeding the fluid into a bottle, with the reservoir closed. That should equalize the proportioning valve again. You probably noticed that the rear fluid reservoir when down significantly when you did that, right?
Thanks for the Video. I was wondering why the front brakes had a second bleeder valve. So I went back to rebleed my real brakes. In doing so, the center piston bleeder valve on my RT front brake, no fluid ever came out. It didn't even drop the vacuum I was pulling. Any idea what going on?
The rear caliper is linked to the front calipers so the lower bleeder valves on each front caliper is coordinated with the back caliper. Front brake system bleeders are second valves on top of front caliper and their reservoir is on the handlebars- not connected to rear reservoir on the frame above foot pedal.

What size hose for the bleeder screw and where can you buy it
It is a 1/4 inch internal diameter and I bought it at home depot
