I realize this is from a year ago, but l was curious as to whether the angle valve you installed was the push to fit kind. The reason I was wondering about the type of valve is, I noticed you did not use Teflon tape, which I understand is used on compression valves which are threaded. I have a stubborn (aka a very old) nut and supply valve and have been unable to loosen them apart from each other and the water pipe. I’ve tried WD40 and they’re still holding. Any ideas on how to loosen them up?
