Great video. This was really helpful because it’s filled with plumbing tips. I learned a lot more than just how to change an angle stop. The tip on reaming out any cut pipe was very useful.

Thanks Sam, very useful tips. I had a couple of frozen vales under a kitchen sink, one the hot water and the other for the dishwater. They were both placed up against the cabinet wall and with no room to cut the pipe. They were tricky to loosen, especially with all other lines, P-trap etc. Fortunately, I had the same short pipe in your video that fits on the 3/8" connection to give me some leverage, and a ferrule removal tool. I opted for a Sharkebite push on valve, it made it much easier, especially as it rotates after being fitted.

Thank you for taking the time to make this excellent video. Regarding the tightening of the nut between the angle stop valve and the copper line. Should that be a half or three fourths or full turn after the nut is hand snug tight.

Good camerawork and narration, surprised a guy your size needs wrenches to tighten anything.

    Thank you!!
    Re ferrel
So the ferrel does not compress or distort the copper pipe in any way?
    Thanks

Where do you get an escusion plate like that? The ones I see at HD look cheap. Good video!

CHANNEL LOCK is a Trade name for pliers, wrenches and many other tools, these types are called Tongue and grove pliers. CRESCENT is also a Trade name used inappropriately for the Adjustable wrench. It would benefit many to know this.

I quit watching after 2 minutes because he didn't say what an angle stop is. Why would I want to learn how to install something when I don't know what it is or what its purpose is?

Psychiatrists say that one tattoo is ok. More than one and you are trying to compensate for something.
