I still can’t believe that you refuse to mention the H2 SX when talking about the H2 and ZH2. This is now the 3rd video you have left it out even it is obviously relevant. Do you know the H2 SX exists?
Also, this is the 3rd or 4th comment on your videos so if you want to know which ones I’m referencing just look up where I commented.
Yammie you should review the new Ninja 500!!!
Best beginner sport bike?
last gen R1 with the demon eyes, also a classic
They are also a cheap way to get the Crossplane i4 after 2009 and alien look. In the right hands they are still properly fast
2015 +
@@257796 2015 was the visual update to the modern R1 as we now know it. The crossplane crank was introduced in 2009
I have an 02 VFR800 and I LOVE it.
Gonna be a sad day when they stop selling the GSXR 750 😢
Stopped selling it in the Uk years ago.
Havent sold them in the uk in a long time. Lucky enough to own a super low mileage k8 version. Would love to see it make a comeback but very doubtful
I'm glad I bought one. I absolutely love it. Prefect balance of power and maneuvering.
no it wont
As an r6 owner I 100% agree
1992 Fireblade, 1984 GPZ900, 1998 R1, 1989 ZXR750, any year VFR750R (RC30). Already getting pricey but all classics.
heck yeah, vfr800 mentioned.
This list is on point! I traded in my VFR in for a new street triple last year. I almost bought a Ducati Monster!
Only bike you missed was the CBR 954RR. My favorite bike of all time. If I could go back in time I would have kept mine!
I got the 6th gen VFR Interceptor. I absolutely love it
5th gen, love it, never letting her go..
I have an sv1000s, and your guy's bikes are the only other bike I would consider
@@ripntearslayer9101 suzuki sv right? It was the other bike I was looking at. The V4 and Delkevic combo stole my heart.
@@eby6613 can't blame you, I hear a couple vfr's around me and I'm jealous every time. Lol I'm trying to find those guys to hang out
Magna vf750c, love the v4 sound!
My first fast bike, a VFR 750 fg. Loved it.
Just got my first bike, a 96, absolutely stunning.
Yes, a perfectly adequate beginners bike in every respect.
I have an 8th gen vrf800 in white. LOVVVE that bike. waiting for Honda to make a 1000 CC v4 VFR soon. hopefully
The triple r should have been a v4. 😫
I mean the vfr has had the same platform since the first 800, wouldn't make financial sense to r&d a racing v4 for the street when they have their inlines.
With gear driven cams!
99
The VFR-800 is a finisher bike.
I think they all want that but to make a good new 1000cc v4 with competitve power and pass emission it would be too expensive and make no sense. Also the VFR800 was Honda second most costly bike to develop right behing the GoldWing.
@@Flatule apparently honda has some patents out for a 1000cc v4. Just have no idea what they are going to build around it !
I got a 1984 Yamaha FJ1100. I love it! 18k miles and 125hp, It's a blast to ride!
I bought a [used] 2015 VFR800 Interceptor Dlx in the fall of 2021. It is so refined and gobbles up miles and canyons. It’s my daily ride around town and not a trip goes by that someone doesn’t ask me about it. 1/2 the questioners can’t believe it’s a Honda. They think it’s a Ducati. Yes! Half the price and 10x the reliability.
Am currently trying to trade my 07 sv650s 13k miles, for a 2006 VFR with 5.56k miles... adding cash on top, do you think I should do it?
@@getit1166 A bike so old with so low mileage is questionable. Garage queen tend to rust.
@@ZeroXSEED yeah I went to look at it, was making a super strange buzzing sound when I would rev match and had some rust on exhaust and what not… ended up backing out of it
This is pretty funny cause I’m going to purchase a 1998 VFR800 this weekend😁
get it- the 6th gen forward are crap
Great machine.
Get it! I love the gear driven camshaft! (Assuming you found a good one)
Get it. Own one myself with 75k miles. Reliable as a hammer and pretty quick
Commiserations m8.
I own a VFR 750, my dad owns a 750 and an 800, and my brother had a 750. They are delightful.
I just got a 2006 Honda hornet 600! Love it.
I’ve owned 2 of them, an R6 and a VFR. The VFR was my all time favorite.
Hello, old bloke here, always watch your vids Y.N. the first production V4 I know of is the Matchless silver hawk, hey, we can't let history be forgotten. Ride on. 🎉Poot
Hello from Wisconsin 0:52 would like to send a pic of my 2022 Hayabousa I’m 76 and love the ride .🦅🇺🇸🦅🙏
i'm 49 & Love to Ride my 2022 Gen 3 BUSA in India
Thats awesome man. Im a teenager and just getting started with bikes, but i hope to be riding something badass like that when im your age
Hell yeah. I have a 25th anniversary edition and I love the thing.
I'm a happy original owner of a 21'ZH2 SE. And I will never sale, she'll be with me for life❤. Thanks to you, Yammie, is why I got her. Had no major issues regular maintenance and just hit 10k , got SC slip on, and NRC tail tidy . Getting headers and tune soon..... 😂 And weight saving parts 😂😅
I owned a Black '98 VFR. Imo the best VFR's were 1998 and 99. Still with the gear driven cams of the previous generation but adding FI. The 98/99 were pre cat so had more power than the '00 and '01. It made good power from 4-12K and was by far the best sounding bike I ever owned. Rode it like I stole it and she was bulletproof. Never touched the valves. An amazing sport touring bike. I live in the Philippines now and ride a Honda XRM 125, which I also love.
2006 daytona 675 Was my first bike. Loved this thing and was inspired by your Videos back in 2019
Should have a 1995 Triumph Daytona 1200 on your list. If you can find one.
Mint 1200’s are going the way of the dodo
How in the hell did you forget the SV 650?
Going to make an argument for the 1st gen sv650. Maybe the 2nd gens as well but the EFI vs carburetor issue makes for a weaker case.
4:20 Good luck finding an air-cooled Ducati Monster in the "850 package" - that's about the only capacity that they never made it in. 400, 600, 620, 659, 695, 696, 750, 796, 797, 800, 900, 1000, 1100 - take your pick!
I had a new 1984 Honda VFR 750 and 20 years later I bought a new 2004 VFR 800. I loved both of them as an older guy I smoked a friend on a Hayabusa in the twisty. While the VFR 800 was not a true sport bike it wasn’t a slouch. It was a comfortable every day rider and a well rounded bike that at the time was hard to find. Almost everything else at the time was hyper focused.
this video made me miss the good ole days ... good video !
Yamm, I love that you're partial to Triumph. I'm on my second one. I think I will pick up Street Triple because you're always going on about them.
BRO...
You are SO LUCKY...
to own and riding...Many of us... DREAMBIKES...!!!!
Which we wished to buy ( may not possible ).
And always keeping our satisfaction by just watching those DREAMBIKES info Videos.
😢😓
I want an H2
PC 800.....had two! Also have a 73 Honda 350 in my three seasons porch!
Much like the Monster, the 1st gen Ducati Streetfighter started the streetfighter craze. The 1098 and 848 Streetfighters deserve a honorable mention.
My dad recently got an absolute perfect example of a Kawasaki kh400 and it's just beautiful
Gezzz yammie do you really have to remind me the 90s was almost 30 years ago? I feel old
Yammie : I owned and modded several Monsters in the )'s... and the one to get is the S4RS - Tricolore from 2008 - After spending large and modding my '06 S2R1000, I got one of these...and it's superb! Get one while you can still find them just under $10K ... they will only go up...
Loved my 86 ninja 900,
Defintely the RnineT. Esp. the EURO 3 version with it's sonorous bass line...
i own a bmw r1150gs, gotta say there are some things that need to be changed. both rear and front brake lines need to be upgraded, along with verifying if the abs system works. the carbon canister needs to be deleted sonce it can recirculate fuel mixed with carbon through the fuel pump/filter. the cam chain tensioner needs to be replaced with a 1200 tensioner (~$180) and the fuel filler cap can let water in. however, i cant lie its one of the best bikes to take on trips, and agile enough for city riding. the transmission is agricultural at best, yet raw and engaging. they are simplicity itself when doing regular maintenance though, and the suspension makes the bike feel rigid yet planted so you get a real sense of confidence in the twisties. if you can find one for about 3500 to 5000 bucks, snap it up. the lower the miles the better, but try and find one around 40-50k miles. reliability wise its a treat, however getting them serviced at a motorad can be a hit or miss, depending on if theyll work on a 20 year old bike. definitely made for larger riders, theyre about 550-600lbs with everything on. alright thats basically everything i can think of.
ahhh, the mighty VFR-vacuum cleaner! The bike that restored faith in Hondas legendary chocolate box cams. 😂
I would add my non bias pick of the KTM RC8.
The interceptor was always a dream bike, just had a presence that few other bikes had. I also think super sport's have always been considered impractical and borderline useless but buyers put up with it because the cost of life was so much cheaper so you could eat that payment for a frivolous toy a whole lot easier. Most people are looking for a jack of all trades and and thats the fundamental opposite of a super sport.
I'm a VFR fan, I own 2 of them 09 & 09) and will keep them along with my 95 Ducati 900SS/SP, which I think is a classic bike too.
GSXR 750
Yep, YZF 600R, 916,996, VFR, k5/6 gsxr, Ducati mosnster-original the naked street fighter! All Classic
Triumph Daytona 675R my favorite bike of the segment
So glad I got the Z H2.
Couldnt agree more with the Monster it was the bike that got me into motorcycling
i knew the daytona 675 got on the list, and i can't complain!
The 675 Daytona is the most beautiful motorcycle ever built. - Fullstopp!
Having a 2018 R6 it's my choice for the most iconic sportbike ever. It'll forever be one of the most beautiful bikes ever made.
My resale value thanks you for the +rep to the VFR ;)
The 1st gen R6 was stated as actually having 120bhp if you could get it to 150mph due to effects of ram air 👍
Vfr was a sweet bike
I had a pearl white VFR 700 F2...loved it and wish I never sold it.
Good choices for the list. Though a ‘Busa should have been wedged in there too.
6th gen vfr is my baby, love that bike
2007 R1 baby!
I'm shocked Yammie included the first bike I thought of when I saw the title because I never agree with him when it comes to bikes.
The first generation Ducati Monster is truly a classic. It was the very first factory streetfighter, it has tons of character and the old, air cooled, carbureted L twin was perfect on the street. Silky smooth power delivery everywhere in the band.
The looks alone are worth the price.😊
Yammie you should review the new Ninja 500!!!
Best beginner sport bike?
My first street bike was a high mileage 2002 VFR with a staintune exhaust. It sounded so good, especially above 7000 rpm . It was great until someone stole it from my driveway.
I own an 07 monster s2r1000. There's absolutely nothing better than an air cooled ducati with a dry clutch. Looks everywhere I go, and plenty of get up and go for a daily driver.
I just bought an r1 but after i finish paying it off within a year or two, im buying an H2 asap. Ive been having the same thoughts that production cant last that much longer with the trend of sports bikes
Will you do a video of the cfmoto 450 sr-s?
Dude how did you forget the honda cbr 600f4? Im stunned due to me owning one. Lol love the vfr though
Good! I'm inches away from getting a VFR 750
I got one of those classics... VFR800vtec - since some 18 years already.... And I have no idea why should I change it... :)
I feel like not including the Harley Dyna and, more importantly, the FXR, while including the H2/ZH2 was a disservice to the moniker of classic bikes in the sense that the H2 and ZH2 are far too new to be considered classics, while the Dyna and FXR had lengthy runs and were far more customizable than any of the bikes named on the list.
Wow how funny is it that I was just watching your video yesterday where you said the VFR was "A Harbor Freight version of a Ducati" and continued to rag on it, I commented a few positive notes about the VFR and the reliability and disagreed with you and now here you are talking them up so much. I wonder if you saw my comment and actually researched them a bit and then made this video.
I have a 2006 Super Blackbird which is finally starting to creep up in price now. Not something to sleep on for people looking for an investment, and it’s also a great bike to actually go out and enjoy.
AZ does not have emissions for motorcycles. Bring on the off road only yzf r6.
My '05:VFR800 is the BEST motorcycle I have ever ridden. It's nearly perfect. Peace...
Hey yammie, i tried searching for a exhaust , but didnt show up in your store am i missing something?
I'd add the original 1985 Yamaha V-max, which took horsepower to a whole new level, and started the horsepower wars.
I got two out of two ending up on the list - what do I win? (Monster 750, R1150GSA)
Forgot the ktm RC8
Can I get a yammie noob opinion of the vfr1200f?? Considering buying one as a replacement for a 2006 r1 I sold a couple years ago? Thanks ahead of time noob!
I almost bought a VFR a couple weeks ago, but I decided against it
Sucks to be you 😅
INLINE 4 HONDA CBF HORNET IS CLASSIC !
Man i really wish i started riding back in 2019 so i could've gotten a cb400 super four.
A Kyle myself thinking about the Kawasaki H2
Rode the VFR800F truly a beast!
beast of a vacuum cleaner! 😂
@@tenbear5 VTEC VACUUM CLEANER
You should try reacting to moto gymkhana
is h2 still produce? rode legal. can i buy it from US and register in EU?
The money making formula is simple. Look at what 17 year olds were lusting over 25 years ago, get one in mint condition and keep for 10 years in air conditioned perfection. So in 1999 it was possibly the MV F4.The prices are now rising, in 2034 they will be hitting big money.
You should review the 2023 honda cb350 RS‼️🌟‼️🌟
Seriously, nobody talks about the R1150GS anymore, which I think is a shame (maybe because I own one), but it's a GS that you can still thrash off road, and you can work on it yourself (just make sure to not pinch the right throttle cable when putting the tank back on, or you'll wonder why the bike is only firing on one cylinder up to 3500 rpm)!
yes, there’s a valid reason for it.
I love my 2001 750 honda nighthawk
8:15 finally someone agreed upon this , it my fav bike too , mean look at my user name
Me want vfr800
It's a great bike, batman approves.
Cool to have an 8gen VFR grampa bike
Hey i just bought a new ninja 400. First motorcycle. Am i supposed to engage the friction zone first then give it gas. Or give it a little gas with the clutch in, then slowly release?
Get your clutch to just before the friction zone, give a little gas (2000 rpms max) then play in the friction zone for a second
@@ripntearslayer9101 oh okay that's what I just learned to do recently and it felt way smoother !
@@MiguelRPD starting out on take offs is always rough. Just keep practicing, and you'll get smoother and smoother to the point you can take off with ease and almost without thought. Plus you'll notice your rpms will be closer to idle and can do it in one smooth motion
@@ripntearslayer9101 I'll keep at it !

Have a vfr800 1998 and an r6 2007 2 of the best engines ever made !
🤭🤣
My R6 2008 has apparently increased in price ^^
Gotta tell you about early monster frames..commonly believed to have the frame you mention, but this is a misnomer..it's not 888..just similar. Hood source for ducati facts? Ducati expert and author..Ian Faloon. Cheers..love monsters..got a 2000 model..my others are all yams..
theres a 2008 gsx r1000 on sale at a dealer about an hour from me and im geinunely tempted to get it it has around 20k miles on it so i wouldnt be pouring a bunch more miles on it but boi do i want that thing bad it looks so clean its one of those blue black and white color schemes with the blue rims aswell along with a full exhaust system its just under 9k aswell but i think id rather get another bike first becasue ill def need a bike to daily and then i could ride the gsx occasionally just to pull the imaginary baddies that i think id get by owning one T_T
I LOVED my '98 VFR800 and drove it for many years. Only problem was it didn't like to sit in rush hour traffic (and neither did I). When I finally sold it, the buyer wrecked it on the way home after he bought it. What a waste.
Your turbo hayabusa motor is smoked dude valves and pistons met in cylinder 2 with valve marks all over the cylinder walls and piston and head. It also seems to have been poorly tuned as that 2 cylinders have cracked pistons from more than likely running lean ouch. Basically it now needs a whole new top end
You missed the Busa my dude
