Love the face when Cate and Liam suddenly realised they were sitting with a row of professional dancers!
funny, Liam is my math teacher and he tells my class now...
Awsome
I love their faces when..*
You're just telling us to love the face when..:D
2:18 the guy on the right is living the dream !
I would love to team up with Mathew Vaughan and Marv Film Studios to bring "Lord Of The Dance : The Untold Story" to the Big Screen.
Your a van graff, I'm a revolver man myself and I'm not that big a fan of energy weapons but okay
@@miscellaneous_man756 Hey! keep your hands where I can see them! If you wanna talk gun's that's with my sister over there... I'm just the muscle in the family business...
@@miscellaneous_man756 k lb bnmmmm
@Luke Thomas I loved that I stumbled upon it.
Mr flatleys, laid back response at 0:16 is soooo Irish " let people do what they want, it's all good"... That is why I love Irish people and their country so much... Amazing people.
Except he is from the USA
Except his mam and dad are irish and he now lives in Ireland obvious his dna is strong.
@@philipbrennan4214 Irish DNA, Irish background, he was clearly brought up as a culturally Irish person.
@@philipbrennan4214he’s actually fully irish, his family just moved to the us before he was born and he moved back to ireland many years ago
Before they all stood up, I noticed they all had the same, specific shoes suited to irish dancing hahahah it was still good though
+Love.Stories8 You can also see epic leg muscles on these ladies. Instant spoiler that they are pro dancers.
That doesn't always give it away ;) I've been to numerous irish-dance competitions by now (both as spectator and dancer myself) and there is a huge difference between the muscles: some women have extremely thin legs while others have huge muscles: when they dance, you don't notice the difference...
I just noticed all those lovely girls and their lovely legs and knew something was off.
Jesina.22 i love the irish way .. always up for some fun
no...THOSE FRONT ROW DANCERS WERE PROS and a great guests in his honor.
That moment when you realize they're all wearing the same exact shoes:
"Well-played, Mr. Norton. Well-played..."
One hello fellow annus and two those shoes are specifically made for Irish Step dance they're sort of like tap shoes but with heels.
That One Slytherin Hello to you as well. They’re called “ghillies” and “reel shoes,” right? I was trying to make a joke. Happy that you appreciate it :p
Memento mori.....
wow its amazing how all those people in the front row could dance so well, almost like they performed together before!
makes me think of not another teen movie when they are at the prom and "You would never guess that everyone who goes to this school is a trained dancer."
they have

I don't think you realize how much rehearsal has to go in to make it this good, from a dancer standpoint (which I have been Irish dancing for 6 years and counting)
I had no idea it was a setup before they started! My initial thought was "what a fashionable audience!" And then i was pleasantly surprised =)
The professional dancers look so beautiful.
When they all stood up, I was like "Aw, these people got all dressed up to come and see the Graham Norton show, that's nice" 😂
How intimidating must it have been for the dancers to perform that routine in front of Michael Flatley, the man who originally choreographed it.
I feel like it was his troupe and he was in on it. Could just be me, though.
@@SandySass they're his troupe so it was probably planned
All the ones who joined the couple were his dancers. James Keegan is the third person from the left.
Look at the shoes. That’s his dancers. They had the shoes on ready.
@chrislang7460 completely. I would have had spotted them immediately at slightest sound from 20 yards away. And it is sound I mean, even when they were walking. 2:44
The man with the stripey shirt, who got up with that girl at the start when they first started irish dancing was my art teacher :p
lol wrong he is in wesgreen international school he my math teacher 7th grade and hes name is mr. Liam Harrington
I don't know who to believe lol.....
@@talashbeeb147
It's an English curriculum school, so the one who said math instead of maths is suspect.

And we don't have grades. It's junior and senior infants and then 1st class up to 6th class in primary school. Then in secondary school it's years as in 1st year etc. up to 6th year.
Why is this dance soooo moving ....so good..
I know that they're plants but it's still so cool to watch
the first time i seen this dance many many years ago it made me smile for weeks.and even tonight i am smiling.i just love it
Irish dance. How I love it.
I knew it!! Those first row bodies were too athletic for average and random people?! Amaaazing!!
That fecker in the right hand corner of 2:19 is having the time of his life bopping along to that absolute tune
Cate and Liam must feel like they are on an episode of Punk'd. 😂
I was suspicious of the very short skirts, but didn't notice the shoes. Fun clip, love MF and the Irish woman with green nails is so cute-they both were.
It's the problem with only knowing a little Irish dance, you don't know enough to be good but you know enough to be REALLY INTIMIDATED by the row of professional dancers you're suddenly in.
My brother is practicing it for about 8 years now I think, and he is still intimidated by the really well trained ones :P.
In 1998, my mother and sister took my 3 yr old grandkid to see Mike dance in Las Vegas, she stood on the chair the entire time and danced! no one complained.................
Heart Warming - love my Irish ☘
My favourite part is the original audience member in the stripy shirt turning to the obviously professional Irish dancer next to him and apparently innocently asking (at 02:35) “have you done this before?”
Long Live Erin, beautiful and magic island!
That was awesome!!! Watched it over and over. Thank you Graham.
I don't know why Irish dancing and music makes me happy! 😁
Such a happy sound it makes you want to dance fantastic music
Wonderful, bring on the next generation. Well done.
Was anyone else kind of hoping graham would shout "stick on the old riverdance" ?? lol
Loving Kate 🙂❤️
i love how they both didn't shy away after the professionals started. Maybe they'd been told before, but still
One of those girls is a world Champion!
Champion of what?
@@shakal703 Of what they were doing! World Championships ever year - very competitive
Still one of my favourite classic GN moments!!
I love Irish Dancing ❤️ I’m an Irish dancer myself 😊😊
What's the name of that song?
Edith M lord of the dance
@@rachaelstevenson6777 thank you!
Love Irish Dancing
Fantastic dancing! loved the wave at the end.
Takes me back to Angela’s Ashes when Frankie lied and said he was taking dancing lessons with the monies but he was going to the movies instead. He illustrated what he’d learned to his parents and it had no structure at all but they clapped along anyway. So to the two guests who attempted…I applaud you👏🏽
hahahaha poor Liam and Kate
My art teacher from last year (stripey shirt) Basildon Academies
They sat with pro dancers for sure. Awsome.
I'm not sure why poor! They were fabulous sport also!
I thought they did quite well!
@Danielle Winterburn oo Jo ml
As he was making the row stand up I was thinking 'Graham's got a really attractive audience today!'
Best three minutes I have spent lately.
irish dancing is fascinating!
Wow! That's really impressive! I'm absolutely speechless!
How can anyone not like this, omg, I thought it was hysterical!!
Brilliantly done
That bit where they go down the line lifting their arms and then putting them down again is very impressive.
Mike, 59 July 2017..he's wonderful.....
Lovely I have been to these cities in Ireland : Shannon airport Galway and Dublin for the cruise . Beautiful place 🙂🙂
When theyre all sitting and they have Irish dancing shoes lol
damn, those audience are FINE
Scares the bejeezus out of Chandler 🤣😝
"HIS FEET MOVE INDEPENDENT FROM HIS BODY!?" :P.
That guy to the right of the unsuspecting audience huhu. Such a fine specimen
Michael Flatley ...pozdrav iz Beohrada Srbija-😘😘😘😗😙😚😀🤗
I asked myself .... hmmm ... now what are the chances ... AND THEY'RE OFFF! lovely absolutely lovely!
Great 2 b Irish 🇮🇪🇮🇪
I didn't notice it was setup up till I saw my cousin Ceili Moore and remembered her telling me she was on the show because she was dancing with Irish dancing crew 😂😂
It's so true though with the people who think they know Irish dance. They try to do it and while sometimes it's close, most times it's not. But this was funny😂
(I'm an Irish dancer and I could never do what the first guy and girl did. I would of froze😅😂)
I suspect most of the non-Irish dancing folks who try to do it probably have a few alcoholic beverages under their belts and say to themselves, "Hell, it's St. Patrick's Day, I'll do my Michael Flatley impersonation."
Love that Graham!
Fabulous!!
I am actually of Irish decent so I love love love this♥️
awesome!
Guys that was just amazing!!!
This is absolutely brilliant
oh man I love Irish Dancing
Brilliant 🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮

how could you not like this ffs it was funny
Beautiful
Wonderful, but I could immediately tell just by the way they stood in line that they were pros!! Great idea!
2:10 this is the greatest thing the man in the bottom right corner (on the edge of his row) has ever seen
Ikr.
He is loving it😊
Put a smile on me face :-)
It's official. I have permission from the Lord of the Dance himself to pretend to Irish dance in my livingroom to my Celtic Woman album. (Not everyone has access to dance studios to learn at, after all)
Beautiful!
That was brilliant.
Im A french Canadian with a Irish last name and i approve this dance ..lol
That was amazing. :-)
fantastic sketch hahaha
How did he not noticed that they all conveniently had those shoes on 😂
Great!
I didn't notice they were plants at all. They really played looking nervous well
Wow. The blonde, 4th from the left, is gorgeous.
I saw kaylee m there in the white shirt, i saw her a nationals in tasmania for irish dance
He keeps making fun of the poor dude named Kate 😂
Im an American, I just found out Im 40% Irish. So proud, my 1st St Patrick's Day as an Irishman, 2018.🇮🇪☘
Happy St Patrick’s Day (Lá fhéile Padraig) ☘️
Happy belated St Patrick's Day ☺☘
Learn some Irish 🇮🇪 to reclaim your heritage. The Irish language needs its speakers to increase for the sake of survival.
Erin Go Bragh! 💚
My Gentle Pitt Bull I beat you, I’m 60% Irish!
JUST CLASS
As a prefetional Irish dancer there pretty good
Ah, so there just happened to be sitting a group of trained legged ladies with same skirt length in the audience.
So marvellous when randomly picked audience can join in the Irish dance so readily. Cheers, GN!
Fantastic
There's a lot of seriously good looking girls in the line up --------- I'm moving to Ireland.
Right? I was just thinking the same. Everyone of them was smashing!
brilliant
Fab !!!
Thumbs-Up #2K-plus I am, Friday evening 23 Feb 2018. If you Irish Dancers are SUCH a pleasure to watch! An ABSOLUTE PLEASURE!

And sing, even without an excuse!
You do that dance your in great shape.
A little surprise for Michael Flatley!😉☘☘☘👍
Pretty sure they were not in the front row because of it, he would've noticed the shoes instantly :P.
