I had a total knee replacement in November and went totally off the rails for the last several months. The holidays and then 4 months straight of various birthdays and I ALL the things! I gained 30 lbs over this crazy time but have been back at this month! I started on Monday and as of today (Saturday) I am down 8 lbs. and while I know most is water water from months of inflammation, it bolstered my determination to get serious again! I am fasting 18 hrs/day and eating more ketovore right now to get myself back into the swing of carnivore. Ready to stop the pain from all of this inflammation! Me too! If you ever break down though use unflavored beef protein by Equip it's clean and when added whisked on the stove to heavy cream you won't want anymore it feels you up fast.

I'm so glad you are doing well with your fasting. We just got back from a 9 day trip to Scotland, and I brought back a few pounds with me. I ate lunch but intend to fast until after lunch tomorrow. Been going through a rough patch personally trying to get back on Carnivore. I started earlier this year and made it a month. Best I’ve ever felt and was on auto pilot doing amazing.
With sickness i fell off. The sickness wasn’t a result of the diet. I caught a bad stomach bug that put me
Down for three days. Struggled hard to get back with aversion for the foods after the sickness and I’ve also dealt with constant traveling for family which has had me putting it off. All that to say I’m starting back. Hoping for the best l. I’m tired of feeling defeated and helpless with food. I appreciate the videos yall do and how open you are for complete strangers in the internet. It helps more than you can ever know. All the best to you two
I'm glad you've committed yourself❤️ Good for you! Just keep fighting! It takes time to "get it". It's taken us all a lifetime to be in the mess we got ourselves into with food addiction, it's going to take some time adjusting to this new lifestyle, be patient and keep working it. I get the food aversion, it's comes in ebbs and flows.
Stay strong, always keep trying. Eat! If you're not hungry for a steak, eggs, or bacon then you're not really hungry. Your body will let you know when it's time to eat👍

Mom may have used the instant coffee as a flavoring. We put instant coffee in cake frosting back in those days.
I have started to record my food. Haven’t fasted for 24 hrs yet but intermittent is what I do.
White knuckle cravings are now part of my "why"... why I shouldn't cheat.

I'm checking in - I lost 12 lbs of water weight. I only did 16-hour fasts for 3 days. I eat BBBE & lots of cream. Cheese is my weight loss enemy.

I use Equip beef unflavored protein powder, add a scoop to 1 cup of heavy cream with the two egg yolks, already whisked, put in a pan on a heated stove, wisk until protein powder dissolves then freeze. The protein powder helps satisfy you and fills you up fast, meaning you won't want anymore carnivore ice cream for a good while. It kills the craving. Whereas without the protein powder your hunger cues don't shut off. At least mine didn't. Found myself eating a pint of homemade Carnivore ice cream no sugar about 3-4 times a week. Was gaining and not losing weight but I was addicted. The powder really helped. Noe, I'm finally losing weight and fasting with SBG Steak & Butter Gang, lost 5 lbs in a week, fasting and priming and loving it.

I did an extended fast this week. Needed to get rid of inflammation from vacation. I’m down 10.2 pounds.

Challenges are part of the problem. Find a weight loss pattern that works and do not stop. Use only the essentials until you get to goal weight. Add more exercise, block blue light prioritize sleep and don’t stop.
I see your point, but respectfully disagree. Challenges are what has kept us and many others from staying in our old ways. If not for the bbbe challenge our story would be very different. Others restart their quest from challenges, where otherwise they would be in the same old unhealthy state. At least this gives people something to strive for
@@CarnivoreQuest I’ve followed you for a couple years. You have done well, but much work remains. From my vantage point watching lots of carnivore folks, they get it working then change. Makes for clicks, but stalls results. Some reach the goal then immediately want to add plants and it goes the other way. Just saying
I ate just eggs, butter beef and chicken for 2 weeks and I ate untill comfort stuffed. I lost a pound a day, as soon as I put dairy in the mix, (cream, cheese, cottage cheese and greek yogurt) My weight lost stopped. Back to Carnivore. I find that if you eat to much meat, you will tip over that calorie intact that your liver will convert that extra to glucose and then to fat

AND get mold-tested coffee as well.
Especially decaffeinated coffee… there is a Swedish process coffee that processes using steam. Called Health Wise. Best coffee ever! Worth the extra money you pay for it.
It's time for me to get it together! I had such big plans for last week bc I was off for vacation but ended up with a horrible sinus infection that landed me flat on my back! So, I ate my emotions which made me feel worse. I'm so bummed but fasting today and getting back on track. I need these videos. Thank you!

I don't believe in beating yourself up when you fall! It doesn't accomplishes anything, if anything I think it make sure mental state worse!
I think it's better to constantly look at what you've accomplished! And to remind yourself how good you feel when you do what you are supposed to do!

I have been going through some weird and scary 💩. It has made me very disinterested in most of the things I normally do. I have been quite absent compared to my usual activity, but one thing I have been consistent with is voting for Cassie every day.

First, as a consumer.. thank you for properly disclosing your ad-read. MUCH appreciated! We all have been there, it's hard when you've cut out so much that your brain is used to. Unfortunately, everyone reacts to things differently too. For as long as I can remember, I used to drink coffee all day every day with insane amts of International Delight flavored creamer in them. When I started doing this 9 mos ago, I cut it ,down to 2 cups per day & tried out different sugar free creamers (most were so gross & had that fake sugar aftertaste) I didn't care for just Heavy whipping cream because I'd then add monkfruit/allulose blend to it (& more than I care to admit) just to get it to taste ok. Did that for a while tho at the beginning of all this, just to keep it sugar/carb free. Cannot & will not do straight up black coffee. I'd rather not have it. Now, I only have one cup first thing in the morning. What I found that doesn't impact my joints OR blood sugar at all (26yr T2D that's been controlled for quite some time now, but I still test regularly esp when trying anything different) has been the best tasting so far. Bordering too creamy sweet, which is great... I use less of it. lol Prob 1 tsp. 1 12-14 oz cup of coffee & just a small bloop.. of Starbucks zero sugar caramel macchiato creamer. It's not perfectly clean BUT.. was the cleanest one I could find AND had the best taste for the least amt used. Hasn't stalled weight, hasn't impacted my sugars & doesn't make me feel bad. Hope that might help someone out there struggling. I tell myself that everything else is so carnivore & clean.. this one thing is ok. Besides, now that I have it down to that one cup.. if it did or does start to bother me, I'll just not have coffee. :) You've got this, you guys know what to do & how to do it. :)
Did pretty well this first week but I kinda cheated. Was sick 4 days of it. Lol, but fasting does amazing things even if you do it unintentionally.
I was relying on the heavy cream as a comfort measure while taking care of my Dad during his final journey. He passed June 1st. The fasting came easy with the sadness of the first days. Ready now to tighten up and go a little lioness ❤ The heavy cream addiction is real! It's doable so here's to the rest of June!!!!

The standard whipping cream has terrible ingredients too. Polysorbate 80 and Carragenan is very bad for your bladder and prostate systems.

I do the heavy cream frothed in my one cup of coffee in the morning and don't stress on using it as my appetite has been MIA for 3 weeks. It helps me to get some fat in and allows me to enjoy my morning even if I don't eat until mid afternoon.

I'm scared! I've been slipping down a carb slope for weeks. Last week my sciatica came back (gone for 1 years of Carnivore), and my anxiety/depression worsened. I've been practically chugging heavy cream and blueberries. For some reason, I've still been losing a pound per week, but I feel like shite. Any advice would be a blessing 🙏🏻

Try to remember what it feels like when your off the carnivore! All that pain back! I've brainwashed myself into that when i feel like a carb etc I quickly chuck a couple of bacon rashers in the airfryer or scramble an egg, the craving goes away. Don't give up. You can do this ❤
Sciatica really sucks. Mine comes and goes even on carnivore because my spine is so jacked up. Try putting a limit on your daily cream (pre-measure it the day before) and blueberry consumption and gradually cut it back. If that doesn't work you may need to try eliminating it 100% cold turkey. Praying for you my friend. 🧡🕊🙏💕

CHICKEN LEG QUARTERS in the 10 Lb bag. I saw them on food lions website for 8.90 which is leg and thigh. That’s makes them .89c /lb and that is the regular price. I’ve gotten them on sale before for 6.99 . .69/ pound.

My food addiction is pop corn. I’ve given up cornbread, which I just love. I’m thinking of dropping a few additional pounds just so I can eat popcorn. I used to eat popcorn every night😰🤦🏾♀️.

@@wilcsen I’m from TN. My mommy made cornbread at least 5 days of the week. There is a recipe out there on yt for cornbread using almond floor though. So I have the real cornbread at thanksgiving and Christmas time. Praise God my DNL mom can cook. I don’t eat lousy cornbread.
When I drink coffee I drink decaffeinated Morgana coffee that they use the Swiss water to remove the caffeine ( no chemicals). Make about 20oz of coffee in the coffee maker and mix in a bullet blender with collagen peptides and butter. After it’s mixed it is like a latte
Whenever I am SUPER strict like you were in March with all the fasting, I then am extremely tempted to eat things I don't want to afterwards so the weight gain afterwards makes me wonder if our bodies just rebel against that kind of restriction...?

from what i know the internet is split on fasting. some say as long as there is no chewing camp and the no calories camp. just like the carnivore diet fasting has lots of catagories. it looks like you are doing great
Our food Lion regularly has 10lbs bags of chicken leg quarters for $8.90 and as low as $5.90.
I buy them and cook half a bag at a time and feed the dog about 2/3 and I eat the rest.
You're killing it! I let the cream sneak back in but its on its way out again. trying to do decaf too. Is Cassie still coffee free? Off topic, do you guys feed your dogs meat? kibble? both? I'm doing 24 hour fast but hoping to ramp it up each week. really trying to eat clean carnivore when I'm eating. Loving this challenge. Its really making me be in touch with my mental talk, mindless choices, etc. Learning to sit with hunger can be hard but its very rewarding. Love you guys!

Here’s an idea for a July challenge: set up Cronometer, it’s free, set to rigorous keto and weight loss at one pound per week, eat to the macros every day, 2 meals a day. Test morning glucose and blood ketones. Healing is in the fat.

I got this way with Mozarella cheese sticks. Just sitting and nibbling strings off of each one, mindlessley. It was bad. I just quit cold turkey, but thought about getting a small bag of them a few times. Lol

When you find out that you don’t have sober behavior around a food, even if it’s animal based, get that food out of your diet, and out of the house, if possible. Dr. Weideman uses that expression, “ sober behavior “, she and I do not have sober behavior around cheese and bacon.
I just found out that I have hyperthyroidism! No wonder I lost weight so quick! I cant fast now, the my weight will go too low😢 Dont worry everyone, I believe my thyroid became unstable due to the RSV that infected me with inflammation everywhere, including my thyroid. It is well know that thyroid can be greatly affected by inflammation.
I love fasting so much. I regularly do rolling 48s. I do the occasional 72h and I find the longer I go, the less interested I am in food. I find the first 24h the hardest. My longest fast was 86h and I wasn't meaning to go that long but when it came time to eat at 72h I could not stomach the thought of eating so I kept going. I probably could have gone longer but I knew I'd be working a 12h shift and didn't want to find myself starving and unable to take a break so I ate at the 86h mark. I have not fasted that long since, though
