Really good vid. But you still got salvation wrong tho. Pls read this: Jesus is the righteous one. We can try to repent and everything, not sin, pray etc... But we still won't be made righteous by our own efforts. Only Jesus' sacrifice can give us the perfect righteousness necessary for Heaven. So pls, start trusting in Jesus only for your salvation, because the Bible says that if you trust in only one of your work plus Christ, then you are not saved (Galatians 2:21). The Gospel is faith alone in Christ alone, and you cannot do anything to unsave yourself (2 Timothy 2:13, John 10:28) ❤ God bless✝️ P.s. we accept Jesus' sacrifice by trusting in it only for the payment of our sins
Thank you for your comment, brother! I appreciate your insights. I want to clarify that without Jesus' sacrifice, we would not be saved. None of my works will get me to heaven, only Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior will (John 8:12; Ephesians 2:8-9). But our faith is demonstrated by good works (James 2:26). We need to allow our faith to transform us and draw us closer to God Repentance means changing your mind and your way of living. When we repent, we turn to God and show Him our intention to change our actions and follow Him by striving not to sin (Luke 3:8-14; Acts 3:19; Acts 26:20). It is essentially a change of mind that results in a change of action I believe that repentance is necessary because it demonstrates a genuine turning to God and a desire to follow Him. The way I have learned about it from my church and online is that when we start following Jesus Christ and turn from sin, we will be saved (Acts 2:38). @@RafaelSalomon375 yeah ik James 2. That's a great problem today. Let me get you the right interpretation of that verse: The first verse talks about the people which James is talking to having faith in Christ. Perfect, this means they are saved, James infact even calls em brethren in James 1. Going on, James starts talking about not showing any favoritism when helping the rich rather than the poor. He goes on saying that unless we are merciful, God will punish us. With what? Not Hell obv, cause john 4:13-14 teaches that one sip from Christ is enough forever, but from God's wrath. James 2:14 says that unless we have works apart from faith, we will not be saved. From what again? God's wrath, as states in the verses before. Same with all the next verses. James 2:18 is a bit complicated tho. Cause thetwo verses before talk about talking good to someone in need vs actually helping them. We divide the first in the faith category, and the second in the works category. James says that he will show his faith (that he actually cares for the one in need) by his works ( actually providing for em). And in one of the next verse, James recalls Genesis, saying that Abraham believed in God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness. So the dead faith that James talks about is just a useless faith. Faith, wheter dead (useless) or alive (useful), still saves (ephesians 2:8-9). Amen♥️✝️
