- Part 2 of 2: Brad Delson, UCLA alum and guitarist for Linkin Park, strips down to a Bruins b-ball jersey and shorts; channels Britney Spears; talks about James Franco, Conan O'Brien, Jamie Foxx and Ellen DeGeneres; and offers some poignant words of wisdom in his spirited keynote address at the UCLA College of Letters and Science commencement ceremony on June 12, 2009.
Delson was selected as they keynote speaker after actor and UCLA alum James Franco canceled June 3 due to a scheduling conflict.

i knew Brad had a quirky sense of humour, but he showed so much wit and poise in his speech. a true showman but also humble at the same time. a very funny, honest and touching speech. as an LP fan, i'm smiling like a proud momma =D

Watching all the band's behind the scenes videos and interviews I knew that Brad is crazy, but here it is confirmed to me that he is not just crazy but super intelligent and funny as hell. He is a very, very cool guy! Also, I was gobsmacked seeing him singing all by himself here as he usually reserved or lazy to sing with the band in live performances sometimes. LOL!
p/s: Wouldn't it be super great if the other band came out singing with him on stage then came off again when the song's finished, just to shook the audience? LOL!

I don't like linkin park at all, but that was truly a good speech. He commanded a presence and kept interest throughout, and despite what seemed like his best attempts to ramble, there was a pretty good theme. well done!
