I always get this certain feeling when I'm listening to new LP songs. A good feeling like I know its going to be something new and unique but yet classic LP and it totally enthralls me and I'm basically an LP-Zombie for however long the album is. Haha.
I want to see the step before this where they're just in the studio experimenting or building the song from the bottom up from the very beginning. A lot of people would find that boring, but I'd like it so much more because I'd get to see how the songs are actually made instead of snippets of an almost finished song. This band has the vibe and the sound that I want to eventually make, and those kind of videos would help me along the learning process of creating this type of sound. I want it to be my own, but at the same time I want to live up to my heroes.
as much as i agree i think they don't want show or give away how to they create the sounds for their songs like when they show all of these clips of making an album they are snippet that are cut out of well my guessing a couple of hours of recording cause brad at one point asked the camera to be turned off during serious discussion with the band so yano it sucks but it gives us the amazing songs they create
It's more of a selfish desire than something I actually want them to do. I have to find my own way to do things so that my music will be unique and new. If I did everything the same way as LP then I would just be an imitator that's nothing pushing music forward, no matter how perfect I think LP's sound and style is.

Chester actually looks so uncomfortable in this video ...or at least in the beginning when he's working with the other guys. He 's seems at home with Mike.
This is why I am such a fan of these guys. The camaraderie of the group is evident within the writing of their own songs. Bands of this caliber are notorious for bickering and dissent to the point of break-ups. LP is one of those few bands who can just throw that all aside and just get along like one big family. Damn, I'd love to be in their shoes. Just to even know these guys would be a blessing. Probably the most down to Earth people.
