The hardest thing about elysium's fight is the fact that you are forced to play with alpha patroklos one of the hardest pg to master
Yea I don’t use Apat at all. Regular Pat I use a lil bit tho but tbh Legendary Souls Elysium is the true boss. I argue she’s the hardest in it or tied with Edge master. Specifically talking bout for legendary souls.
Patrokolos was one of my least favourite characters in the SC series in general. Funny thing that with normal Patrokolos the moveset was okay, but I hated the character, yet with Alpha Patrokolos it was vise versa. That messed up Setsuka's moveset felt like trash, while the character was... well, definitely better than before
@@GoldenLion44I know I can’t stand his personality
@@GoldenLion44 yea I used regular Pat some wat but as a character he’s not really good. Pyrrha Omega was my favorite of the replacement’s tho & was also my main(cuz I normally main Sophie). Omega actually did decent damage & seeing like a female type nightmare was kool.
@@Darkshadows147 Totally agree with that. I used to be a Sophitia main in SC1-4, so I had no problem playing as normal Pyrrha or Omega
I remember that final Algol fight, and how to beat it:
Put your controller down.
He'll almost always knock you down, push you to the edge, and then do his jump flip attack over you and ring out himself.
@@calemr at least, before the patch
I agree with the list Night Terror was a nightmare
@@RakieemF 🥁
Let’s not forget that SC6 Inferno has PLENTY of unblockable attacks he loves to combo you into.
Not to mention his flying sword attack
@@BlueCerberus92 ah, the inferno copter.
Indeed XD
He has a legit TOD when he is in soul charge mode
I actually prefer Inferno's SCII design to his SCVI design. He's a writhing, incomprehensible mass of fire and bone in a vaguely humanoid shape, which I think is scarier and more unique than his big demon form.
I also really like the detail of Soul Calibur (Evil) being stuck inside his torso, with the eye guard and wings acting like a head instead of the usual flame skull (which unfortunately gets obscured by all the fire effects). Besides looking more inhuman, it visually conveys how Soul Calibur is trapped and corrupted by Inferno's power, yet also fills out the empty spaces of his firey body, which makes sense with the revelation that they used to be one.
Abyss & Night Terror were my favorite bosses and characters to get and mimic.
soulcalibur ii inferno will always have my heart as far as boss fights go. the nostalgia and the small cutscene movie you get for your subboss are just unbeatable. im so happy to see someone else making soulcalibur content!!
I agree with this list!
I remember having a hard time with abyss in sc3
And then when I fought night terror in mission mode
I couldn't even scratch him XD
Another idea would be top 10 rival battles or sub bosses in soulcalibur
@@BlueCerberus92 rival battles sounds like a good idea! I’m personally down for Cassandra vs Raphael.
@IamaPERSON Yea sounds good
The siegfried/nightmare vs Raphael rivalry is also great
I wish they can take Inferno's SCVI design and look but instead of just giving him Nightmare's move set or just use Soul Edge the sword, have a sup up version of Necrid's moveset on making weapons out of hellfire or something.
Thank you for the video❤
This video, has made me want to see Chasred replay the arcade modes of each game again, because I want to see how different he does now with every character.
Elysium's boss fight should have two phases, Phase one would be the original boss fight and phase two would be Elysium revealing her true form as a crystaline blight Wielding the empowered version of soulcalibur from SoulCalibur IV. Also in the second phase the players health would be slowly chipped like soul calibur is slowly possessing the player.
Please don't, playing as Alpha Pat is already hard enough
Azwell was pretty funny; became a villain in the competitive scene too lol
Even if the Night Terror mission is harder then Tales of Souls Night Terror, at least once you unlock that fight it's there for you forever. Just *getting* to Night Terror in Tales of Souls is a gauntlet. I only did it once back in the day, with Seigfried. And it was pure dumb luck. In the fight with Olcadan he copied Talim's moveset, and did a move that made him jump right out of the ring, giving me to win, letting me face Night Terror. I never reached Night Terror with any other character. (I believe I was able to get Olcadan to death's door with both Nightmare and Seong Mi-na, but never quite defeated him with either character.)
Heck, I made so many attempts with Nightmare I think I can roughly remember the route you need to do to reach Night Terror. Go for 'Strong Souls' rather then 'evil souls', and put off pursuing Seigfried as long as the game gives you the option to continue building up your power.
Getting to Night Terror route is a nightmare if you do it with character who's not your favorite 😅
You have to score perfect run (no losing) until after facing Zasalamel in the Cathedral 😅
Night Terror was indeed a true final boss of Soul Calibur 3. Getting to him was tricky & hard, unless you played as Sophitia to make the path easy to beat😇⚔️😈
I'll agree with other commenters that Inferno was most frightening in SCII. You can see raw meat and bones writhing beneath the flames, and the corrupted Soul Calibur is lodged where its head should be. It's just humanoid enough to make you uncomfortable, and monstrous enough to be scary.
In a story sense, my choice would be Algol.
Night Terror was something else. I only ever won through dumb luck.
Yeah Night Terror being a crazy secret boss made him the coolest to me. Abyss was also neat, as far as boosted up versions of a standard character goes. Though this does make me wish more SC bosses got their own moveset. I think that's probably why I thought Algol was neat in SC4 as well, even with the chair being as goofy as it is.
I think Algol is the only final boss with an unique moveset in the whole series, the rest are just boosted up existing characters, especially Nightmare.
But man, Night Terror is just an insane boss, but slightly manageable compared to SNK bosses
Waiting for soul calibur 7
Is Sophie Night Terrors kryptonite? 🤔 Sophie is already my main in every game(Well except 5 I main Pyrrha Omega)
Nice.
I'd put Elysium, SC1 and SC2 Inferno at the same bottom level, because they're just mokujins (despite inferno have more OG moves).
Than Azwell and Grow, because they're just base roster characters.
SC6 Inferno and Soul Edge, basically nightmere and Cervantes on steroids, but also OG and powered up moves (better than SC1 and 2 copycat Inferno).
Abyss, Zasalamel 2.0
Algol, OG and cool charachter
Night Terror, the goat
I never played against Chronicles bosses
Soul Calibur legends looks like the game should have gone instead of being the third game after all of the games Namco forgets about.
The only way i beat Night Terror is by using the Anti AI moves😂
(Anyone remember those?)
Honestly I prefer Algol to Night Terror because he's a much more fair fight. I prefer bosses in fighting games to be a test of knowledge and skill as opposed to a test of patience and finding some cheese strat. I will say though, SC bosses are still much, much better than any SNK boss.
Is it possible to mod Inferno from SC2 w/ out his flames? I've always wanted to see that
It's possible. There should be some Action Replay/Gameshark codes floating around fort that
Algol underrated? Algol was so strong he was banned.
My bottom three are Elysium, Night Terror, & Strife.
Night Terror’s design is discount Resident Evil & he’s infuriatingly cheap
