i don't know if you already know this but for your full acrylic pieces you can use steam blocking method with an iron. It will make the piece super drapey and soft
The Mouse and the Motorcycle VHS!!! ❤ That was one of my favorites growing up. I loved just looking at your VHS collection, great new (in house) background haha
@@michelle_jasek I did the same when our library started culling them! Picked up a lot of great, nostalgic tapes that I'm glad I've hung on to. I just need to get my VCR working!
you could buy some canvas fabric to make some totes or bulk buy some tote bags and just use that as a liner. you can crochet around the handles for cohesion and it wont sag no matter what
Herrshner's has a retro inspired weight 2 acrylic yarn that I think you might like. It might help with the bulkiness of acrylic yarn (besides blocking, of course).
was having the same type of problem with my weight 4 pieces, and found weight 1 and 2 just too tiresome. Weight 3 (like lion brand coboo) works so so well for me! love the vid!
Do you get mailed fan mail a lot? Have you thought of making a community project like a blanket or sweater out of fan made granny squares?! Put like parameters like a color scheme or theme of your choice. I’d love to send you some stuff and see your reaction! Lots of love from Australia ❤
does anyone know how to soften cotton yarn? I live in the desert so i want to crochet things that are a bit more breathable to wear but cotton is always so stiff to me! I tried soaking the finished project in fabric softener but it didn't help very much.
For me it depends on the brand! Some cottons are super stiff, where others are so soft and easy to work with! I really like lions brand 24/7 cotton yarn
The bag you made with the flowers when I make them like that and I don’t mind and I make them into laundry bags, so just put your dirty clothes in them hang them over the door

It works, but might melt the acrylic
Or just a clothes steamer! I loooove steam blocking my acrylic pieces, makes all the difference
Maybe a live stream where you chat and sew in all the ends?

@@michelle_jasek I'll have to try that one thank you right now I've been using the Peaches and Cream original cotton and it is extremely stiff.

Ha ha, first thing I thought, “wait, that’s the bedroom, not the trailer” had to check the date to make sure this Vedio wasn’t old. 🩷🩷
