Alot of people don't realise this, but what truly makes vegeta an amazing anime character, is his character development. Very few characters go through countless subtle changes over the course of many years, untill they are almost entirely different from once they were first created. I personally think Vegeta is truly underrated.
Vegeta is always wrong with some stuff. He assumed he was a Super saiyan on Namek after few zenkais. Then assumed that being a Super saiyan meant being stronger than the androids. Didn't know of Super Saiyan 2 or 3 and even God nor SS4.He had to have someone always be the first one so he can witness it. Goku sort of tried to argue that he could get stronger to prove Vegeta wrong. Also breaking limits of strength was the whole premise of the Tournament of Power. He must have mean normal means of training rather than the advanced form of training from Whisu.
He’s probably on about the methods they usually do for training. Like, the training they do will only get them so strong and there will be some limit to it, then there will be ways of training beyond that, like G.o.D training, Ultra Instinct-esque training, maybe angel like training?

For those curious as to why Goku and Vegeta didn’t gain a huge boost in power after 3 whole years. It’s explained in the manga that Goku and Vegeta have pretty much hit their limit in their base forms so Zenkais and training do nothing for them anymore. The only reason why they train is for the fun of it or to refine a new form such as Blue Stage B, Omen, MUI or Hakai

Yup. When Goku died in the cell games, Vegeta fell into a depression. When Goku announced he would come to the world of the living for the martial arts tournament, it's like he came back to life all of a sudden.
It's weird but I think Goku in a way looks up to Vegeta, like a child and his father, or like lil and big brother, he just loves to be around Vegeta and talks about him all the time, in a way Vegeta looks up to Goku in a weird way, they're not best friends, but they'll always be there for each other
I'd say they just respect one another's power and character so they tolerate one another. It can be one sided at times where Vegeta sees him as his rival and strives to beat him, while Goku sees him more as a comrade... a sparring partner, and a friend. But one day Vegeta might match his strength and maybe even surpass him. And that goal is a challenge both are excited to face.

Exactly its really sad at least piccolo should have been the only character to still keep up with the saiyans but they are retiring every fighter and ruining the whole point of them being warriors and the anime being about fighting. They have all become slave to the plot except for goku. Toriyama used to be a decent writer where he gave a lot of attention to the plot now he just rushes everything and doest give a damn about building up the story and the characters he just pushes forgotten/useless characters to insane power boost and leave the important ones behind like they did with a17 and roshi who was useless since DB. I think goku has a vague idea of how he feels about chi chi, he definitely cares about her, but I don't think he can attribute love to that in a sense, his tier list of things he cares about are as follows Food His Kids since he's around them so much Chi Chi And then his friends All are equal in his eyes, but I think it's in this way because of how he acts, he's still around the house with her and tries to please her because what she says goes and he at least respects her a bit to try and at least honor her decisions, only reasons their kids are above her is because he had the honor of personally training and fighting along side them, add that to them being his sons and that's bound to be a plus

It’s explained in the manga that Goku and Vegeta have pretty much hit their limit in their base forms so Zenkais and training do nothing for them anymore.
The only reason why they train is for the fun of it or to refine a new form such as Blue Stage B, Omen, MUI or Hakai

I agree. Think they have a unique big brother/little brother type of relationship that works for them (since Vegeta is older than Goku).
I'd say they just respect one another's power and character so they tolerate one another. It can be one sided at times where Vegeta sees him as his rival and strives to beat him, while Goku sees him more as a comrade... a sparring partner, and a friend. But one day Vegeta might match his strength and maybe even surpass him. And that goal is a challenge both are excited to face.

And then his friends
All are equal in his eyes, but I think it's in this way because of how he acts, he's still around the house with her and tries to please her because what she says goes and he at least respects her a bit to try and at least honor her decisions, only reasons their kids are above her is because he had the honor of personally training and fighting along side them, add that to them being his sons and that's bound to be a plus
